Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think you look smashing!

But, whatever works for you as motivation.

Well, drunk never looks good in a picture. But your weight - it's fine if you feel your best weight is lower, but you do not look horrible & terrible. Period. Hating yourself and your body will turn you into a yo-yo dieter. When you aren't into shaming yourself all the time - that's when you'll eat well, be active, and maintain your normal weight permanently.

Good luck! You'll find lots of great information, ideas and support here!

What are your plans for food and exercise?

I think you look great. But, what matters is how YOU think you look. Best of luck with your progress.

I agree...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I, personally, would love to be able to wear that outfit. I have always loved schoolgirl skirts, but I don't have the legs to pull it off.

*I* think you look fabulous. I don't understand why this photo should shame you...you have a great figure.

heh. i'm only a few pounds over your starting weight and lemme say ... you wear your weight MUCH MUCH better than I do. Yeesh tho ... you are looking for motivation and want something negative.

Meh I got nothing.

I too think you look great. I wish i looked that good. But if its motivation...go for it. But please stop the self hating. Find things daily that you like about yourself. If you don't then no matter how much weight you loose, you'll never be happy with yourself!

Yea i understand the self hating thing i really need to think more positive its just hard once you have been in a certain mindset for so long Thnx for the nice words but yea the fact people are doing that is motivation to keep on healthy eating ...i did do ww for awhile but i become obsessed with my points so i gave up on that as it became unhealthy , now i just count calories and exercise when i can ...not amazing i know but its something i hope to keep up for life.

On the one hand, that's OK. You don't want to do anything amazing, you want to be able to do it for life, as you said. On the other hand, there is so much obesity and sedentariness and crap food in this country, that what you are doing actually *is* amazing. Congratulations.

Lifelong change cannot be rooted in shame. It must be rooted in confidence and the belief that you are worthwhile. Shame pulls down, confidence builds up. Sometimes we have little recordings in our brains that can be negative. Focus on changing those recordings to positive. Good nutrition and exercise are important for you, not because you are horrible and terrible, but because you are worthy and wonderful.
