It's sort of the Elie Krieger food philosophy...there are "all the time" foods and "sometimes" foods and "rarely" foods. Most days, you eat the all-the-times. Sometimes, you need a rarely (she said this as she ate a chocolate cupcake).

As long as it is rarely, there is really no long term harm. You can't live your life being "perfect" all the time. You just aim to do well most of the time - that's good enough.

I'll admit it. It took me a minute to "get" this. I kept looking for the explanation of the "sometimes" foods. Well, I finally "got" it and now that I have, I've got to say I agree with it - 100%. Quite clever and oh so true.

I agree with my sister chicks.

We all mess up. We all make choices that later cause us to smack our foreheads and say "doh!" But it is truly what we do most of the time that influences our weights.

Please don't ever feel like you have to be perfect. You are human. You can "fix" your choices yesterday by getting right on plan the next day. With breakfast. And plenty of water. And eating what you know you should. And exercising how you have planned.

Yesterday was a speedbump, not a cliff.

Yup. I agree as well. And it's the getting back on the horse and keeping going that makes the difference ... not the falling off in the first place.

(and I love sister-chicks! - makes me think of Big Love and sister-wives)

Psshhh!!

I had a horrible cheat day with two days of bad choices, afterwards because I felt guilty so I indulged myself even more and had 1000calories of white coconut chocolate URGGHHHH!!!! So what did I do, threw the rest away and worked my butt out in the gym for two hours this morning, been on plan all day!!

You know what, I absolutely did not want to through my "chocolate" away and I wanted to stay in that "indulge" state forever but I went through the motions of being a healthy person and now I am on track!! Most days that is all I can do is go through the motions, and yes it set me back a couple of pounds, BUT!! I am here and in times past I would not be here in this mentality, ok so my point being listen to all these wonderful ladies!

Someone has this saying in there signature, I may botch it up but it goes something like this...

I does not matter how many times you get knocked down, only if you get right back up!!

So GET BACK UP silly!!
