Question Trader Joe's Indian veggie burgers 4 real?

Has anyone tried these veggie burgers? They claim to be 120 calories each, but they are SO delicious that I find it hard to believe that they are so low in calories! I am wondering if it's possible that they aren't truthful with their caloric claims...sort of like that Seinfeld episode where they discover that their frozen yogurt isn't so low in calories as they calim!

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but your reference to Seinfeld just cracked me up..

Trader Joes has had inaccurate nutrition labels in the past...the banana crisps were a classic example. I haven't seen any testing on this product in particular, though. 120 calories isn't particularly low for a veggie burger, though, which would be a red flag (if something tastes great and is drastically lower calorie than similar items, without any real way to account for it like cutting out sugar or similar, it could be wrong..).

I looked 'em up online and found this:
Ingredients: Potatoes, canola oil, carrots, green beans, water, bread crumbs, bell peppers, onions, corn, salt, sugar, ginger, spices, turmeric, mustard seeds.

Seems to me that one pattie could very easily be 120 cals.

Wow! You guys totally rock! Thanks for all the help! I can now enjoy these little tasty burgers without guilt. I guess I feel guilty if something tastes very good. Pretty crazy, huh?

They sound great. I'm making a trip to Trader Joe's tomorrow and hopefully they'll have them.
