There are a number of support groups that you might enjoy. There's the very active and friendly "100lb Club" and then there are groups based on age, and under Diet Central there are people following different programs, too. If you'd like to join a smaller group, or start your own, there's the Miscellaneous Clubs area!
I am not all that "new" to the site,more like a long time gawker, but I would like to join some sort of support group where i can check in on a regular basis and try to gain some more accountability. Maybe we should just join a group already in progress..But if you want to start your own I will join for sure. The only thing is, after this post is no longer visable from the main page, I can not find it. Does anyone know how I would find this thread, say on Saturday?
When you're in a thread that you want to keep tabs on, click Thread Tools at the top of the thread, and choose Subscribe. You can then set e-mail notification for as often as you'd like to check in.
I am a long time gawker as well. Not really new, just jumping back on the bandwagon! My ultimate goal is 145. My current goal is 160 by September when DH and I go to Hawaii for our anniversary! I am NOT going looking like this! So I have a huge motivation and going forward! I found an AWESOME program that keeps track of what you need to do to lose weight by that goal. It keeps you on track! Oh what I would give for someone to motivate my butt off! Literally! lol. I need peeps to emal me and keep me in check! Someone who can hold me accountable and yell at me to do what I am am supposed to do. Like a diet buddy, but minus the diet, becuase I hate that word! lol. How bout exercise buddies.
