I was on Depo for most of the time I was losing weight, so obviously it didn't have that effect on me. I also didn't have one single period at all in the whole time I was on Depo. I DID have other side effects, so had to stop it. I had my first period one month after stopping Depo! So, Depo obviously has different effects on different people.
I would agree with others that you may have to ease off a little until you get the bleeding sorted out. We have just had two people at work who were totally exhausted due to really long periods. They were simply losing too much blood to keep their energy levels up. One ended up having to have a hysterectomy and the other ended up in hospital on an 'iron' drip for a few hours. She is STILL not quite back to normal, but is improving.
Perhaps do some research (or revisit your doctor) to make sure you are eating properly to balance the bleeding out a little, if possible. I would also ease up a little on the exercise, just for a little while, until your body is more 'normal'. I know, towards the end of my weight loss journey, I tried to increase my exercise to lose some more weight, and I ended up making myself quite ill, because I was OVER-exercising and my body ended up telling me that it had reached its limits.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
Take care,
Zelma
