My Goals 4 August:
~To actually "see" some of my hard work paying off
~To try out new exercises
~Just continue on with my healthy living

My goals for august:

- Cover 120 Miles a week on my bike (5 days for an hour)
- Go swimming for 2 hours once a week
- Loose 7lbs and have a comfier fit in my size 12's
- After Saturday, not drink alcohol for the month plus
- Eat healthily

My weight goal for Sept. 1st is to be down 6 pounds - just above the 160 mark somewhere. I also want to exercise at least 4 times a week every week.

I'd like to see 134 by my birthday (Aug 17).

I would like to:

1) only eat out once a week and not go hog-wild
2) lose 4 lbs (down to 229)
3) go for a walk at least one day each weekend
4) cut down on drinking

I did very, very poorly on my July goals. For August, I must and will do better. I would like to lose a minimum of 6 pounds by 8/31 and resume walking 3 evenings per week. I kicked butt on my cholesterol tests today, dropping the bad numbers WAY down! But my good cholesterol numbers dropped also, so the doctor's office called with the message that I need to resume my exercise. I thought how did he know I've been slacking off?! Nurse later told me that exercise increases your good cholesterol numbers and mine had dropped. Boy, I can't get away with anything! :)

How's everyone doing on their August goals? I am doing pretty well on mine. Luckily, we are broke so the cutting down on eating out thing is pretty easy. I have cut down on my drinking to only a few glasses of wine on friday and/or saturday nights. I am not doing the walk thing BUT I am going for a 35 minute bike ride every saturday. I am .5 lbs away from 229. The month is almost over, we can do it guys!

141 by August 31st. I have been stalled for over a month at 143-145. I usually stall for a while, then jump down 2-3lbs at once...I'm hoping for that to happen in the next couple weeks!!!



Oh man I just realized...I have been reading this place for so long I felt like a part of it...this was actaully my first post! :)

I am just getting back into the swing of things here at 3FC, so I am getting into the August goals game a little late : ) I figured I would state publicly that I am determined to get below 213 by September 1st, however. That's only 3 pounds so I think I can do it. I've been stuck between 213-215 for six solid months and I am going *crazy*. If I can just get under 213 I know I can get things moving again.

PrettyOne and thistoo: you still have time to reach those goals, you are going to make them! I am, too! Now, I have to think about what goal I want for next month. PrettyOne: you'd better watch out, I was a lurker for a long time and now I post almost every day!

Things are going okay for my August goals. I think I might can make my goal of 146 by the end of the month. Which would be great because i would probably hit my Sept. 13th goal of 145 a week early. That would be AWESOME!! So, I am going to keep trucking along and see what happens. Haven't been getting those 5 days of excersize in but i do what i can and things are progressing nicely so, i guess that's okay. Everyone just keep going. We still have over a week left to go!!! Keep Going!!!!

I'd like to get down to 149, so I can say goodbye to the 150's. I don't know if I can do it or not, though I'm now going to the gym for at least an hour on the weekends in hopes to get rid of all the weight :D (I already work out for 1hr30mins + on the weekdays, but my weight is a bit stubborn and I want to keep things moving, plus I really like to eat...)

Well I'm doing well on the exercise and breakfast/multivitamin front, but the weight isn't budging just now. New goals and new plans for September, here I come! ;)

I'm going to set an August goal. I want to see 129 (In the 120s again!) by my birthday on August 30th. I also want to be sure to stay on track even on my birthday.
Also, I want to start exercising! I start my karate class tommorrow hopefully, so maybe that will serve as some motivation.
