August Goals
Lets here 'em! What are your goals for August??
My scale goal is to lose 7 lbs. to get down to 183...more would be fine of course! My exercise goal is to continue running and hiking, I'm shooting for 4-5 days a week and to cut 5-7 minutes off my 3 mile time (shooting for that 5K!) My food goals are to just continue on what I'm doing, I'm happy with my eating habits right now! |
my goal is basicaly to reach my ticker and try to do a workout video 4 times a week and go swimming once a week. and my food is fine just trying to keep my calorie intake under 1200 and my fat intake as low as possible (coz the more fat i eat the more to loose!) and if i do reach my ticker then i will be very very happy and hopefull i wouldve started a new goal for september! :D

I want to continue my healthful eating and loose 3 pounds.
I have been parking my car far, far away from everything and walking. I want to continue that and start some other mild form of exercise. |
*Continue my abstinence, and I should hit 165 days by the end of the month.
*I don't weigh again until at least the 18th, but I'm working with the goal of being under 250 at that point in mind. :) After the 18th I probably won't get on the scale until mid-September. *50 miles/week (minimum) on my bike. I'm also working on getting my 5-mile time down. I'd like to be under 20 minutes by the end of the month. |
My goal would be.....
..since I'm going on vacation(camping with family) , to not gain any weight aand to exercise once a day. Then when I come back get really on track with he food and have some weight loss.

For August.....
Drop 5 pounds (that would put me at 146) Excersize at least 5 times a week (4 classes and one day of walk/jogging) Continue to eat healthy, keeping calories at about 1200 most days. I am hoping i will drop at least an inch in the waist and bust but we'll see. I have this great red sundress with white polka dots i used to wear but at the moment, i can't get it zipped up over my rib cage and boobs!!! |
I'd REALLY like to say goodbye to the 150's this month ,but if I can't do that, I'd like to get down to 154 or 155 so that I'm no longer overweight.
I only need to lose 1-2 inches off my waist now to fit SOME of my thin (though they were kind of big on me when I was thin) clothes. Fitting at least one pair of fat-thin pants would be nice! |
My goal is to lose 8 pounds this month- from 143 to 135 would be nice. It might be difficult as I get a week off starting tomorrow afternoon. But I'm going to workout as much as possible and try my best to keep on track (damn bbq's!)

I don't want to change what I've been doing, because I've been eating clean (1200 cals/day, no refined carbs) and exercising at least 5 x/week. BUT, my goal and challenge will be to keep this up through 1) our cross-country move, 2) a subsequent 4-day conference, and 3) the 10 gazillion meetings (many with snacks provided) that mark the beginning of the academic year.
Losing some fat would be nice too, but I see that as a bonus. Kim |
I want to reach my Sept. 1st goal of 180, and I'd like to have gone to the gym 5x/week.

I would like to be as close to 200 as possible. I would also love to lose 1-3 inches off my waist, but honestly any measurements moving down from what it is now will satisfy me.

My goal for this month.. hmm.. Well, I'm just starting any goals in general, so.. I'd like to lose 8 pounds. Is that a reasonable monthly goal? Should I push for more? Along with that, I'd like to actually start working out a bit, and prepare more meals for myself rather than going with frozen dinners. Also.. to try to convince myself to eat more :carrot::broc: more and less items such as :cookie::jeno: |
August goal is to get down to 175 and keep refining my weekly focus goals. Also - get myself signed up for classes - I'm finally going back to finish my degree :book2: !!

- Reach the 160s before August 13th.
- Exercise as much as I can before the 14th. - Maintain my weight when I'm in Europe for the rest of the month. |
My August goals are:
- to kiss 200 goodbye forever and lose 8lbs. - at least 1000minutes of exercise. - breakfast (incl multivitamin) daily. I want this to be a GOOD month. Big progress, I hope. |

My goals for august:
- Cover 120 Miles a week on my bike (5 days for an hour) - Go swimming for 2 hours once a week - Loose 7lbs and have a comfier fit in my size 12's - After Saturday, not drink alcohol for the month plus - Eat healthily Wooop Wooop bring it on! hehe! |
My weight goal for Sept. 1st is to be down 6 pounds - just above the 160 mark somewhere. I also want to exercise at least 4 times a week every week.

I'd like to see 134 by my birthday (Aug 17).

I would like to:
1) only eat out once a week and not go hog-wild 2) lose 4 lbs (down to 229) 3) go for a walk at least one day each weekend 4) cut down on drinking |
I did very, very poorly on my July goals. For August, I must and will do better. I would like to lose a minimum of 6 pounds by 8/31 and resume walking 3 evenings per week. I kicked butt on my cholesterol tests today, dropping the bad numbers WAY down! But my good cholesterol numbers dropped also, so the doctor's office called with the message that I need to resume my exercise. I thought how did he know I've been slacking off?! Nurse later told me that exercise increases your good cholesterol numbers and mine had dropped. Boy, I can't get away with anything! :)

How's everyone doing on their August goals? I am doing pretty well on mine. Luckily, we are broke so the cutting down on eating out thing is pretty easy. I have cut down on my drinking to only a few glasses of wine on friday and/or saturday nights. I am not doing the walk thing BUT I am going for a 35 minute bike ride every saturday. I am .5 lbs away from 229. The month is almost over, we can do it guys!

141 by August 31st. I have been stalled for over a month at 143-145. I usually stall for a while, then jump down 2-3lbs at once...I'm hoping for that to happen in the next couple weeks!!!

I am just getting back into the swing of things here at 3FC, so I am getting into the August goals game a little late : ) I figured I would state publicly that I am determined to get below 213 by September 1st, however. That's only 3 pounds so I think I can do it. I've been stuck between 213-215 for six solid months and I am going *crazy*. If I can just get under 213 I know I can get things moving again.

PrettyOne and thistoo: you still have time to reach those goals, you are going to make them! I am, too! Now, I have to think about what goal I want for next month. PrettyOne: you'd better watch out, I was a lurker for a long time and now I post almost every day!

Things are going okay for my August goals. I think I might can make my goal of 146 by the end of the month. Which would be great because i would probably hit my Sept. 13th goal of 145 a week early. That would be AWESOME!! So, I am going to keep trucking along and see what happens. Haven't been getting those 5 days of excersize in but i do what i can and things are progressing nicely so, i guess that's okay. Everyone just keep going. We still have over a week left to go!!! Keep Going!!!!

I'd like to get down to 149, so I can say goodbye to the 150's. I don't know if I can do it or not, though I'm now going to the gym for at least an hour on the weekends in hopes to get rid of all the weight :D (I already work out for 1hr30mins + on the weekdays, but my weight is a bit stubborn and I want to keep things moving, plus I really like to eat...)

Well I'm doing well on the exercise and breakfast/multivitamin front, but the weight isn't budging just now. New goals and new plans for September, here I come! ;)

I'm going to set an August goal. I want to see 129 (In the 120s again!) by my birthday on August 30th. I also want to be sure to stay on track even on my birthday.
Also, I want to start exercising! I start my karate class tommorrow hopefully, so maybe that will serve as some motivation. |

My goal for August...I want to see 157 on the scale on September 1st. That seems reasonable.
