Well TROO as of this morning 1 of those pounds is gone Not getting too excited yet though...been bouncing around from 172 to 174 for almost 2 weeks now....I am beginning to think this may be my perfect weight.....you know.....with just a small kegger to carry around...

For dinner last night I had the leftover salmon, veggies and rice, plus a little beef stroganoff, that was leftover from a function at church, Angie helped with earlier in the day. I stayed on track for my 2 beer a day limit by going over by only 2...so...my norm!

Going to San Diego today to see Jersey Boys then off to Las Olas restaraunt in Cardiff By The Sea for an early dinner....bound to surpass my daily ration of food today!

I just LOVE my 3FC support! that MY FRIENDS is not a PITY!
  • MMMM....mexican food. Steer clear of the chip basket if they have one, that was always my downfall! And lookout for the homeless guy in the parking lot lol (I read the reviews).

I'm ready for a PITY party. When I first started to diet I lost 10 pounds in 10 days - amazing right? Well I restarted said diet and have stuck to plan 98% and I am not losing as fast this time around. Yes, I am happy to be losing once again, what can I say I love being a loser! But...I'm American and I need instant results to keep me motivated! Such a pity that I am so ADD with my dieting that I need this!

Thanks for the "look-out" Cat...not to worry though, that isn't a homeless guy It is actually my son in law He hangs out down there for free food. How do you think he got these gift cards I am holding, that he gave Angie and I for Christmas? Do ya really think he got it from working at a real job? That would be a MIRACLE

OH MY GOODNESS! You are so right! As AMERICANS we not only deserve the right to instant gratification but we are OWED IT!

    WELCOME TO OUR PARTY!
  • I know I go up and down so much...but I average it out for the week and I keep going down, that's the good news!

It sounds like you did good for dinner last night. And the beer...good job. Myself, last night was my "cheat" dinner: 3 pieces of homemade deep dish pizza...that was about 1200-1300 cals, but that's okay, I've been good all week! AND I only had 1 martini.

Who are the Jersey Boys? Have fun in SD! btw, I went for a 6 mile bike ride at Lake Murray today...it's getting easier. Good luck at Las Olas, I've never been there but I love Mexican food.

Looks like you are getting it in control dear.

The Jersey Boys is a play about the life of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. It was down at Civic theater, near your Croce's! It was excellent! We ended up eating at the Las Olas in Carlsbad...closer to our home. We wanted to eat at the one in Cardiff but the SMOKE from the Santa Ysabel and Portrero fires was so thick on the coast it was incredible....almost like a thick fog. It got a little better as we got closer to home....but we sure can smell it here on the coast! I hope you guys are OK....my daughter, in Fashion Valley area said it wasn't too bad for her and her husband.

My PITY for tonight....I brought home half of my grilled chicken with wheat tortillas plate home....the part was I also ordered a cheese enchilada and ate it all...plus I went against my "plan" and had chips and salsa....too many chips....dang!
  • May I join in? I have a little pity party every single day, because I always don't do every thing perfect. I am a huge GRAZER! Pity me, I will get over it!

    I'm just venting!
  • WELCOME SYNERGY! And no problem with the venting...that's why we are here....PLUS venting burns CALORIES!!

    Bring it on!
  • HA I warned you about those chips - they're the devil!
  • Ah...I love plays. We don't go to enough of them but I really enjoy them. About the fires: are you okay where you live? For those who don't know, San Diego county has about 4-6 wildfires throughout the county, 270,000 people have been evacuated. I live in the college area and we smell smoke here. I woke up with my nose all congested and feeling dizzy. My eyes were burning last night. I can imagine things are worse for you up there, Gary. I'm hoping you aren't directly affected.

It sounds like you did good with your food (except for the enchiladas and chips!), at least you brought half of it home. Yesterday, I was so proud of myself: we went for breakfast at one of my favorite places (The Mission) and I really wanted the Papas Loco (a potato/avocado/black bean/sour creamy thing) but instead, I ordered the Zen breakfast (tofu, brown rice, egg whites, zucchini and squash with some teriyaki sauce)...then, I did something I've never done before: I asked the waiter to bring a to-go container when he brought the food...and I immediately put 1/2 of it in the container and took it home for lunch! That was a true victory.

Be safe and I hope you are well.
  • I live in Escondido, but not anywhere near the fires. It's been in the 90s here, so I was forced to go out and buy (light) ice cream. Pity.

Yes you did warn me CAT...but you were supposed to come and handcuff me! So, therefore, NOT MY FAULT!! It is YOURS!!

Quote: Ah...I love plays. We don't go to enough of them but I really enjoy them.We don't either, and it is a shame. There are so many choices in our area to enjoy them. That my dear is A PITY! However it qualifies you for our PARTY! WELCOME!!!!
  • I'm glad to hear you and your family are safe. I am dissapointed about the air, my hubby says we can't go bike riding this saturday and maybe not even Sunday because of the air quality. I don't want to exercise indoors! Waaah! I should just be glad I have a place to live and haven't lost my home like so many people have. I'll stop complaining. I'll just say that I will be glad when things get back to normal.
  • Well TROO all I can say is that you and I are breathing smoke and ash...but....we are still living in our homes....and that is not a.............

    PITY!
