I had a rough weekend... alcohol, food, you know the jig. So, I'm up 5 lbs

I think I'm having a rough time right now... I'm just TIRED of losing weight and I want it OFF!!! It actually depresses me thinking about how much weight I've lost.. and knowing that I still have 45 lbs to go!!! It's frustrating!!

I think I'm going to change my ticker and make my starting weight 175.5 and see if that helps at all. I feel so worn out by this whole thing.

Anyone else ever feel this way?

Sometimes it feels like it's taking forever, and no matter how good of a week you have, or no matter how much you've lost......there's still more to go. It's discouraging at times. But most days it's worth it, because the harder you fight, the more you are going to feel and look better.

Melissa, I've lost 48 lbs. and have 52 more to go to get to my WW goal. I think my body has been adjusting to such a big loss and I just wanted to eat, but I am maintaining for the most part.
Whenever I gain, I lose even more the following week. Like a couple of weeks ago with TOM I gained 4 lbs. but lost 5 the following week. Right now, I'm doing what I can to psyche myself up for the next stretch. I've found and heard that losing weight stresses the body, so maybe you're in burnout. I do find that from time to time I need a break, I take it and move forward.
You can do this. Just find out what it will take for you to move ahead.
You've had a great loss, you should be proud of yourself.
Do you have any pictures of yourself before you started losing that you can use to compare with the way you look now? That might help.

Wishing You All The Best
Denise

Oh lovelypurple, you have done really good so far. At least you don't have to lose 100 lbs or more. I have to lose 66 lbs, I wish I only had to lose 45.
Be thankful for what you have lost.
Don't give up! You can do it Girl!

I have to agree with don't give up. I took a break for almost a year and now, i could kick myself all the time because i would have already been at goal and enjoying my new body by now. I know it seems like a long way away, but the longer you take breaks from losing weight the longer it will take you to get to goal. I agree with the picture thing. It always helps me to refocus my thoughts. i look at how far i have come already.
