you guys have good measurements. At least you can hide your "flaws". Word on the large boobs making you feel good but then making you look large in pics.

Here are my measurements:

39 - 35/36 - 43

Huge! If anything, I'm anxious about my hips. They look so freakin' huge.

See, here's my problem. I'm 46.5-35.5-46.5. A true hourglass. But I'm so short-waisted that you can't really tell that I'm so much slimmer in the waist. And have you ever tried to find a blouse or a bathing suit with a big bust and a smaller waist? Not happening. It's awful!

Right now, I'm 45-42-47. So, no apple or pear, I'm pretty much a rectangle.

I LOVE your attitude Susan B! You are an inspiration! I need to feel comfortable in my own skin.
Lumifan4ever- I only wish that I felt that way about myself! It scares me that I ook in the mirror and stil see myself where I started. I really do think it has to do with my breasts. i feel like they cover my whole torso.!

My measurements are 42/bust - 33/waist -40/hips. Talk about being out of proportion! It's ridiculous. I would love to get down to a C cup!!!

Ya know - I don't think I would be as depressed about my measurements if I was able to find a decent bra. I'm a 38DD and when you start getting into those sizes, pretty and good support do NOT come in the same package (as I had to tell my disappointed husband after the last shopping trip - I opted for support - lol)

Default Question...

Haha, boohgirl. I totally agree!! Whenever I go bra shopping, I pass the big busted bras and they all look the same! The manufacturers should have some good R&D people around to make them look attractive, is what I say...

So here's my question. I measured my bust, waist, hips and thighs (upper) and lower. TOMs due to arrive in about 5-6 days.

My weight has dropped from the ever prevalent 165 to now 163. But my inches have stayed.the.same. I don't understand it!!! Maybe I've bloated some, but wouldn't that make my weight go up?? My tummy has gained an inch overnight (please, PLEASE be bloat) and now I'm:

38 - 36 - 43.

Anybody else experience this???

Water weight due to TOM? Water fills up the tissues, so your measurements could actually go up. So, you might be going to experience a weight loss after TOM is over. Who knows? The body is a mystery in many ways...

One of my coworkers likes to tell people about the huge boobs I used to have
It's worth the hunt for a good bra ... mine are from VS.
Mrainy ....42/bust - 33/waist -40/hips is dispropotionate???? When's that next What Not to Wear Marathon? We're going to Rainy's house with a big screen TV and a big stick!

Yes Sunnigummi ... hormonal bloat effects the entire female body. Even my face feels puffy. Good news ... it'll go away.

I'd talk to HR about sexual harrassment in the workplace.

Try barenecessities.com, bravissimo.com, biggerbras.com, or ladygrace.com for larger size (cup and/or band) bras.

Oh no no no Maria ... it's always in a perfectly appropriate situation where a bunch of us are talking about body changes, aging and weight changes.

No, seriously. My bust is 42, But my chest directly below my breasts is 33. What the heck does that make my cup size?

I have lots of loose skin after losing 80 pounds, and really need good support not to look saggy. It'd be easier if I could determine the right size to get.

Go to some of those sites that Maria mentioned and measure. Don't let anybody measure you above the boobs ... what the heck??? .... I got an "I" for you just cruising around the net quickly.

Is there a Macy's where you live? They're supposed to be very good to help.
