Poppi really is a lovely person and she is the first one to say that it takes hard work and diligence and that there is no magic shortcut in the journey. According to her blog, she went from a size 22 to a size 2 in under 8 months. (BTW, she is 5'2" and 19 years old.)
She ate about 1100 calores daily, broken down into 5-6 meals, with 45% coming from complex carbs & 30% lean protein. She stresses the importance of keeping a food journal too. She also drank protein shakes. She gives a shoutout to her nutritionist Cheryl Forberg and sings her praises.
Her workouts were 2 hours a day of intense/moderate cardio and .5 daily circuit training.
She ends her blog comments with: "There is no magic in the diet/exercise routine. The magic is your mind." She also suggests finding something that will inspire one to keep plugging away.
I hope she maintains her weight loss; she is a terrific girl.
