Hey Improbable...thanks for that info and YES I can eat beans!! I try to stay away from the tofu though. I LOVE chickpeas and can eat a whole can myself..lol. I try to get in at least half of my veggies as beans as I need the energy and I notice a big difference when I eat them as opposed to days that I do not.

Jay, my program is Hackley Managament Resources (HMR if you google it). It's a common one done through hospitals...mine is done through the hospital here at the Women's Health Center. The support is WONDERFUL. Different exercises I do...I like to rotate them...are:

Elliptical
Ski machine
recumbant bike
kick boxing
weight-lifting
hiking
swimming
salsa dancing
belly dancing
stair master (try to limit because of my knee)

That's most of them that I can think of....I love to walk though, so if I don't have anything to do I will go to the park and walk and jog for a couple hours.

You guys are actually a bigger support system than my group. A lot of my group members are very frustrated over their diets....they eat outside of their diet so they're not getting the results they would like...I think some people have unrealistic goals for themselves too. We're only 3 weeks into the class so I'm sure people will get more excited as they see the pounds shed. Although.... we still get people that stop at Wendy's for a frosty before they come to class and they bring the cup with them. Silly people!

Thanks for the information! You might want to start a thread in Diet Central under general plans as well, to see if you can find any other 3FC members who are on your program.

That's a lot of exercise, and just as the other posters did, I would urge you to consult with your groups leaders about exactly how much you are exercising and how much you are eating.

Good luck!
Jay

Thanks Jay! I'll do that.....I really would love to talk to people about the diet I'm on and what they're going through as well.....I know they're out there...I just don't know if they've made it HERE yet. I was thinking of promoting this website at my next class and telling people how great it is to have this site when you're not in classs.
