Listen, I'm just next door in Illinois, and I'm heading out the door in a while (into flying snow and wind gusts) to get my daily walk in. There'll always be a reason, external (weather) or internal (too tired) *not* to move.
I have a lot of health issues (like lots of people here, no doubt) and was even told by my doctor to specifically stay away from high intensity exercise for now. But you know? I felt so awful health-wise that I stopped moving, which in turn made me feel MORE awful and so I moved even less... the only way to break the cycle is to reach that point where decide that you're sick of your situation and want to change it. I started with a 10 minute walk and am up to an hour on a good day now, and I'm seeing a difference in how I feel.
It is SO easy not to move, I know. But seriously, put on some headphones and walk around the block a few times. Also, if you think something low-key like walking would ease you into it, look into a pedometer. I got an awesome one for $18 and I swear, I'm addicted to seeing those numbers go up and up! You'll be looking for excuses to move.
Good luck
