That article was interesting, but 175 people is a teeny sample size, and two days of exercise a week is so minimal. Rather than assume that some unfortunate people get neither cardiovascular nor muscle-building benefits from exercise, the researchers should look more deeply at the parameters of their research.
This article caused me to have a minor meltdown on my hamster-wheel (exercise bike) when I first read it; I kept thinking, "what if I'm just fooling myself? What if I'M one of the ones who can't be fixed!? OMG, must...peddle...
