Default anyone eat sushi?

I was just wondering if anyone here eats veggie sushi(maki rolls etc.)? I guess I am looking for any good nutrition facts on inari maki rolls and other rolls with just veggies. I want to make sure I am not cheating when I go to my favorite sushi place!

Anyone have some good resources for this info?

Thanks a bunch!

Like you want to know calories? I love sushi. I usually buy it at Whole Foods or my local asian market who has a sushi chef.

Veggie sushi is usually pretty decent in calories -

Stay away from Inari - those are tofu pockets that are fried and usually glazed with a sugary sauce, and avoid anything with tempura, which is also fried.

Maki probably has the least amount of calories, depending on what you stuff it with (cream cheese versus cucumbers for example), as long as you stay away from inside-out rolls which have around double the rice. Maki calories would just depend on what you put in it.

Are you making it yourself, or going out? We've made delicious sushi with apples, avocados and green onions. You can put in about anything you want.

I have an Asian Market near me so I have access to the wrappers, it's one of my favorite foods so I just had to know! It's a bit high for it's size yes but good for an occasional treat!

For any of you girls in the UK, Sainsburies do £1 vegetarian sushi selection pack with four pieces for 136calories.
I never used to like, but recently I can't get enough! Really nice ^.^

I was reading a Japanese food blog the other day, and they grilled their sushi. They said it wasn't the norm in Japan, but they liked the extra oomph of flavor. I suppose a vegetable grill pan would be all that was necessary. I think it sounds great!
