Really didn`t mean to slag this lifestyle - apologies if it came across this way.

I think we all could do with incerasing the amount of raw food in our diet, and I, too became very intrigued when I researched this way of eating.

After having done so very intensely though, I have concluded for myself (and just for myself!) that I am not interested in eating exclusively raw food. It would not serve me.

I tried vegan, which I`d love doing, but I miserably failed three times. I either don`t want it enough or it`s not for me either? Never tried it again since.

Good luck with this lifestyle, I think you are doing great!

Bigknitter -- I am a raw vegan and I created a flex plan for myself to avoid the "freakouts" as noted by Stella. I did not transition at all -- just went cold turkey and did it and am really happy with both the mental and physical results. It's only been a few days for me but I have several friends who are raw vegans and elite athletes and perform at ridiculously high levels. Good luck with it.

Taka -- Raw could be fun for you as you are a foodie. There are gadgets galore in the raw world -- dehydrators and nut bags (yes, this still makes me laugh) and spiral gizmos. You can "bake" and create with raw foods in a similar manner and maybe come up with even more delicious concoctions for us cake burners to use!
