Hey everyone.. I realized you all have been a quiet bunch lately... so I looked up some Diet Quotes to give you a smile, inspiration, or just for thought!

In the Middle Ages, they had guillotines, stretch racks, whips and cahins. Nowadays, we have a much more effective torture device called the bathroom scale. :goodscale:

I Will! I will get through this ... I will put this behind me ... I will move forward stronger ... I Will! :dust:

Those are good, Jill!

How's McDougall treating you?

Good :) I'm actually excited to weigh in again. I hope this lasts, I've always done best on diets that I dont have limits on how much I can eat.

The cardiologist's diet: If it tastes good, spit it out. That cardiologist has never had roasted green beans then.

I'm fighting with food. Some has been emotional eating over DH. I've written in the journal and am pretty much over that. I went back and looked at my food on SP and have realized how much processed stuff has been sneaking into my diet. Tomorrow I will be back on track with the basics.

woops! Major mistake, sorry! I changed it!!

Good job for journaling and realizing what might be wrong in your diet, i love processed foods, but i know it slows me down too!

I have a bad feeling about weigh in this week for me.
I have finals for the next two days, and while studying I've noticed unconscious eating. :C

jillnicole03 01-21-2009 04:37 PM

SummerKate... bread, and soy products are all I believe.... you have more slack in the regular program than the MWL :)

Well, it is already friday 10 AM here, and I'm weighing in at a happy 221. This makes for a very exciting 4 lb loss! McDougall has yet to let me down.

Congrats for everybody who is still sticking to it!

zinkemomx2 01-23-2009 07:51 AM

249.3 whohoo

jillnicole03 01-23-2009 08:10 AM

Thank you 3 for your weigh ins, nice and early :) Looks like you all are doing quite well! :cheer2:

TODAY'S WEIGH IN: 173
I actually feel it should be more lost than 1.5 lbs, but I'm pre-menstrual so I think that may be playing with the numbers. I'll find out next week!

If everyone weighs in today I'll post are weigh in later! :dust:
