For those that are needing female hormone treatments: Premarin is a drug made from the urine of mares. This stuff is factory farmed in Canada and it's not at all a life that a horse should have to experience. These mares need to be pregnant. What happens to their babies that result from the pregnancies? They are herded into auctions where they are sold to the 'killers' for slaughter.
There are people trying to save the babies, but money only goes so far and for so long.
So if you need hormone therapy/treatments, say no to Premarin. You have a choice, horses do not.
