I am not a vegetarian/vegan, but I'd like to start incorporating a veg. meal here and there.

One veg. protein I like is tempeh. I like the flavor & texture of it better than tofu. About a month ago, I bought a couple packages. I used the first package, but didn't use the second one, and the sell-by date on it was 5/28.

How long after the sell-by date will tempeh hold up? Does anyone know? I hate to throw it out, but it is two weeks past, and I'm not sure.

I don't actually know, but I always had the impression that tempeh could go bad relatively fast.
