Question Vegan Salad Dressing Fears.....

I am not vegan yet, and currently eat salad dressing the following way:

Mix mayonaise with a Ranch Seasoning Packet (which contains cheese I think). I HATE french dressing and can't stomache any of the clear oil dressings or anything like that. I am a Ranch girl...............how can I fix this for when I get to the stage of being Vegan? Help!

What a silly thing to think about..........but I like salads and just cannot eat one unless it is ranch dressing.

I hate ranch, french, italian, and any standard salad dressing. Now I shop for the natural and organic brands at the natural food store, and there is so much more variety! Everything is much superior in both taste and quality to the usual supermarket brands. Have you explored these types of dressings?

I found some recipes for Vegan Ranch Dressing but can't link them because my post count is too low (have to have 10 before I can post links). However, if you do a search on vegweb.com and veganconnection.com you'll find them. Good luck!

This tastes really good!

1 cup vegenaise
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 T. parsley, chopped
1/2 cup unsweetened soymilk with 1 tsp. lemon juice

Blend or process all. for a lower fat version, use 1/2 a cup silken tofu and 1/2 a cup vegenaise and all the other ingredients.
