Frus, rant away! He sounds like a complete so I'd just ignore him, it sounds like everyone else is OK with you going so why let one spoil it?

My run wasn't bad at all in the end. I'm always like this after a holiday, it takes me a while get back into it. I think it's more mental than physical, somehow if I take a week off I don't believe I can do it any more. We'll see how my 8 miler goes tomorrow (must remember not to drink tonight at a works do), but I'm feeling better now.

lou - I think there's push & pull tests too, push-ups and stuff too. I think you can look it up. There are forums and stuff. My DF is a volunteer transport police, and he had to do all the fitness and stuff. I could never do the bleep test, but I haven't tried recently! Perhaps we should do it again to see how I've progressed!

Just a word on the KB Lee told him that he could come (and I'd still be coming) and be fine with it, or he can stay at home and not get his money back. Did I say that before? Anyway, his problem, not mine! Apart from the fact he seems to think that he can get me not to go by texting me about why it's a "boys" weekend.

I had the BIGGEST breakfast this morning! - 2 eggs and 1 white omlette, a few billion mushrooms and 2 quorn sausages chopped up into it! I ate it all too! Only problem is, it took 10 minutes to cook and I left the house 15 minutes later than usual! Had to motor on down the motorway pedal to the metal!

Got kickboxing tonight, I will relieve some aggression on somebody (not - he doesn't train anymore. So don't ask me how he's coming on the "Martial Arts" weekend ) Gym at lunch too!

Frus, why don't you text and point out that, as he no longer does Martial Arts training, he therefore doesn't actually belong on a Martial Arts weekend whereas, of course, you do!

On the other hand, I think I'd just go round there and talk to him about it - but I'm like that - I don't like unresolved issues - stops me sleeping.

Well, I'm back to my old trick of jumping on the scales each morning... and this morning it showed a loss of 4lbs since Saturday. This, IMHO, is extremely unlikely. I think the scales are - or possibly it is the huge amount of fruit and veg making me very... um... regular. I'll find at at the swimming pool today - I'll pop in the gym and jump on the scales - they are more accurate than the ones here.

DH is all wobbly after his LBWO last night He looked like Bambi when he came downstairs and thats only on the 35kg weights that my bench will hold.

Woo Hoo! We pick up the new car tomorrow. I wonder how long it will take for the dogs to trash this one. I think Fred set the record in the current one - under 15 minutes to eat through the three back seatbelts, from the guarded off doggy section behind the back seats. We've decided this time to not buy a dog guard - DH thinks they are both mature enough now to stay put in the back bit. Yeah.... right! So if you see a nearly black Landrover with a giant size black lab sitting on the driver's lap you will know its us.

DH started his new job yesterday - same boss though She is SUCH a miserable Thankfully he will be working in a different part of the building from her now so maybe she'll stop treating me like his unpaid secretary.

I'm just going to let him stew about it (or let him think he's got his way - whatever) and just show up on Saturday. If he wants to throw a hissy fit infront of our friends then that's fine by me however since no-one else has a problem, I don't have a problem, and I'm pretty capable of ignoring a few text messages, as long as I know that I'm still "allowed" to go and that I have a hotel room booked. If he wants to be an then that's up to him, he'll only show himself up! HA!

Oooh you have mischevious doglins

Poor 2 frus! Still you don't have to be near him all the time and hopefully won't sit near him when having a meal. Any other ladies going?

You are more determind than I. I would have had an alternative venue sorted out and ...sod them!

Anyway - unless you and he are romantically joined - which you clearly are not! - what has you coming with them got to do with wives and girlfriends or can he not see that???

Sarah nn- That pic you have painted of your habby looking like bambi!!!!

2 frus - I would not bother responding to idiot's texts - he is a nothing and you do not respond to nothing. He is of no importance - please do not let him make you cry. He is the only one being annoying - if the other guys are happy with you being there- just ignore him. Do not waste your emotions on him!

EXACTLY

I don't want to tell 'em all to go to **** 'cos I was looking forward to having a great weekend with them. Why should I not go just because of this one guy?

I am really lost on this "you can't come cos I'm having relationship troubles" WTF??? There is another girlie who may come down for the day on Sunday, but everyone else made other plans after we were all told it was a "boys weekend" However my DF was doing other stuff so we didn't make any other plans and I'm the only one free now!

Edit - for 2nd peacock post. The only reason I was upset was because he made it sound like it was a "boys weekend" again. Like it was back and forwards and back and forwards. But it's just him

Gimme his address and I'll go round and talk to him for you ..... grrrrrr!

Basically, he's a bully. Spitting out his dummy cos he's not getting his own way. You can see why he's having 'women' problems.

He's just a big

I'm really looking forward to seeing the look on his face on Saturday

I've wasted far too much energy worrying about this already - but b!tching about him IS fun! I'll take some pictures over the weekend and we can all b!tch more about how it'd be only himself he'd be "pulling"

I remembered! He's on the website! www.shentie-kickboxing.com under instructors, name begins with a D!!! If you want to go see him!

Would you believe it?? On Sunday I sold a fairly cheap man's T shirt on eBay and the bloke just came to collect it. No warning, no emails, nothing! He said he was just 'passing' and thought he would save himself the P&P and collect - but nobody just passes this village unless they are lost or like bird watching.

I thought it was creepy - he said he had checked my listings and could he come in and see a few of the other items I'm selling in his size. Nope. Like I'm going to let him in when I'm here on my own. I was just blustering on about not being insured or rated to trade as a shop from this house when Fred went in to defence mode and starting growling then George came to see what was going on and the bloke beat a quick retreat.

Just checked and he only lives in Doncaster so maybe he felt like a nice drive out - but it still felt creepy.

Well - you kinda have to send them your address if you want them to pay you - they wouldn't know where to send the cheque or postal order otherwise. Most people pay through PayPal though.

He's an eBay newbie so he might not know that its not the 'done thing' to just roll up at the seller's house to collect.
