Thanks! (puts her cheesey winning smile on). I would do a lap of honour but I am such a lazy sod so I won't!!

Looking forward to a picnic at the park on Saturday. Hope weather will be good. We have our book club group there. If it is bad we can make other arrangements.

I have strange news...

I lost 9 pounds first week back at slimming world!

I have a lot (A LOT!) to lose though... I put a stone on in the last 6 weeks...

But I do feel all motivated now

Veggie! Wow!

Mind you I think the first week is always a goodie (not to burst your bubble!). My friend when she loses weight can often lose 6lb a week (but she likes booze too much to keep it up!). Hopefully that will be a big boost for you.

Congrats Homersmummy on your weight loss too.

See? We can do it when we really put our minds to it (says she that ate a whole pack of minstrels -a big one- yesterday and felt rather sick).

I was very bad today, and couldn't wait for weighing day (monday). I seem to have gained a pound since then, so am now feeling quite depressed esp as I have eaten so well and done lots of exercise . I know that it could be many things, and I hopefully will be lower again by monday, but I can't shake the thought that I may just stick at this weight for a while now - it has happened before. I soooo wanted to be thinner by my sister's graduation, when cameras will be snapping away. I am not photogenic at the best of times, but with this double chin...

I've never seen any certificates except for slimmer of the week/month. I'll be expecting a certificate now! I'd put them on the fridge.
