  • awww how cute!
  • Sorry to hear about Homer -Homersmummy. It is tought to deal with when animals die. I haven't had a pet for ages (not allowed to as in a flat) but I miss having them around. We had a lovely parakeet -even my mum who is frightened of birds (worried she would hurt it) liked him. She also used to a mouse, hamster, guinea pig, gerbil and 3 cats. She hated it when they all died. I was very sniffy myself - especially with the cats. OUr first one, a tortie we had when I was 5.
  • I'm sorry about Hommer

YP Seven For All Mankind Jeans are going to be my reward Save up and treat yourself - all those tiny goals that you never bought anything for (I read in your blog!), have you got yourself something for actually reaching goal yet? I'd save for them and deffo BUY THEM!

I have been to kickboxing - I'm pretty sure I passed my green belt, we don't get to find out for a week or two. I was also presented with a "Student of the Year" trophy! I'm the greatest! I celebrated with a shop in Primark and a Subway for lunch. I'm easily pleased! I was even restrained! I spent £16.50 in Primark and I didn't have a cookie with my sub! I bought a lovely yellow spotty dress in Primark, a T-shirt that says "I'm with stupid" (My vintage 70s one is falling apart!) and some knickers that are ab fab for kickboxing - no wedgie! Primark knickers RULE!

I also bought some of that Johnson's holiday skin in Tesco, along with Phish Food so I came home, had a bath, shaved my legs and fingernails OWWWWWWW! I've shaved right into the nail bed on one finger! I just caught the razor on my nails and then I thought, "Oooh nail polish, that'll stop it peeling off" OWWWWWWWWWWWWW! That hurt... And of course nail varnish remover.... OOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW! It's now throbbing inside a plaster!

I think that's all the excitement for today! Oh yes, and Zest and Runner's World both came today
  • Ouch you've brought back horrible memories of when I peeled half my nail off with the potato peeler I realised I am a complete fool when I did it again two weeks later

sorry to hear about Homer homersmummy
  • Eeeeew! That sounds worse than mine. Was it a yorkshire peeler or one of those take all the skin of the inside of your arm jobbies??
  • i've had a quiet day, went into yoga, complained about the noise again. Five weeks ago they said re-soundproofing was a "priority" and nothing has happened, and we were told we would get refunds on our classes, but nothing there either. Not a happy bunny.

Not much has happened today, read Runners World cover to cover, and had an afternoon sleep!

We're going to the football on Tuesday, England v Hungary at Old Trafford!!! And it was my idea. I'm beginning to worry about me!
  • I've been plotting in my head a couple of things that might be worth selling on ebay, a couple of posh evening dresses and suits that haven't been worn that much. Hopefully that, combined with some birthday money and some saving might get me those jeans. (and maybe if I have to wait for a month or so to get them I might be able to get the slightly smaller size that was just a teeny bit too tight rather than the bigger one (they fastened, but there was just a hint of muffin top).

I've been out for a 7 mile run this morning, now it's time for some beautifying before I go and meet someone for coffee at 11ish.
  • Muffin top? Thats rude where I live

I've done a slightly re-arranged UBWO and now my arms are so sore that I can't brush my hair or put my jacket on - it was agonising cooking breakfast. So I'm going to go walk the dogs with messy hair and without my jacket - PLEASE don't let it rain.
  • Whooooohooooo is that sun I spy? is that really washing on my line? why do I know as soon as I go out it will rain?
  • Hello everyone

I am so sorry about Homer. Your heart must be broke. Just before christmas
a fox got into my garden and killed my Rodney the rabbit. I still miss him, and so does my Kerry.

Anyway take good care and keep up the good work.

I'm fine off to a barbecue, hope the weather holds out!!!

2Frustrated I read that book Conversations with the Fat Girl it was a disappointment really, but as you said an easy old read.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

    Michele
