  • Wahey - glad you're still at it Kykaree!

I did my kickboxing last night, I was a bit pooped and a bit injured, but I did it anyway and had a good workout, I learned some stuff and practised some kicks, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm off to the gym tonight, it's legs day today! WAHEY! I'm going to shred me some quads! THEN I'm going to

I've also got a private kickboxing lesson tomorrow morning, so tonight I will be getting home and going straight to bed, then tomorrow afternoon is nap time... We're going out for drinkies in the evening and hopefully going to watch the marathon on Sunday... A nice weekend if ever there was one!
  • Kykaree what a girl you are. Always exercising.

I feel so tired lately. I'm going to get my bloods done to see if I am anaemic.
I am a veggie but my diet isn't bad.

Will gym this evening though and walk over the weekend.

    I
Day off today but I need to sort this house out really. Or shall I lay on the sofa and watch Fernie and Phillip.

Fernie is a big girl but she looks so sexy. When I was a big girl I never looked
sexy just like a big fat barrel there is no justice sometimes.!!

I am also going to look at pots tubs etc for my home growing. You get to a certain age and its either god or gardening isn't it!!

    Have a good day everyone

    Michele

p.s I still adore shoes though
  • God or gardening

I'm at work, trying to stay calm but not really succeeding.

I have real tomorrow, yay!!!! I missed last week due to Easter. I'm having a day off my eating plan today, we're having a work buffet, it's mainly healthy, apart from a lot of cheese and some rather delicious mars bar cake!!!

I swam this morning, and it was lovely, really relaxing. My back is a bit sore today, I think it's from increasing my weight on the lat pull down! Go me! I used to do 10 kilos and now I do 25 kilos!
  • Mars bar cake Save me some I'm a comin'!

Just had a bacon sarnie, but am seriously craving some chocolate! I've got a half-price easter egg to demolish... I mean savour one tiny piece at a time! Be careful with your lateral pull downs - make sure it's infront of your head not behind the neck and try and keep your back in its natural curve
  • As we're on the subject of exercise... has anyone got any good ideas for more abs exercises for me. I do all the usual and I'm looking for something more interesting which doesn't use equipment except dumbbells.

Mars Bar cake - bleughhh! I don't much like choccie and I've always hated Mars Bars, even as a kid. I could get stuck in to that cheese though!

My free evening, yesterday, was a bit free-er than I usually like it to be. We went to a Brewers Fayre place near us which boasted a 'new and improved menu'. We chose the 'featured' meal on the front of the menu because it looked delicious (with lots of veg) but when it arrived it looked nothing like the picture at all - possibly less than half the size and maybe a spoonful of each veg! Obviously the 'new and improved' means that they've reduced the size of the portions. The restaurant manager agreed that it was and agreed to give us replacement meals - which took another 20 minutes but the restaurant manager gave us all our wine for free. We came home and I had some cheese and bikkies - I think I overdid it with the blue cheese because this morning my face looks all puffy and I've got a headache. The wine might have had something to do with it as well - I had three large glasses courtesy of Brewers Fayre!

Frus - thank you for recommending that Tesco Healthy Eating bacon - its lovely!

I just finished a 2 hour walk in the rain with the dogs - got in, put the kettle on and noticed that the rain had stopped!
  • I have lots of abby exercises - I will PM you with some suggestions!

Glad you got some good service at Brewer's Fayre, it's nice to know that they make up for their mistakes.
  • I don't think we'll be going back to Brewers Fayre - after we got our meals we took a look at what other people were getting and the portions for most dishes seem to have been reduced. We weren't the only people who were off but for some reason I was the only person who complained.

Its a shame really, people who don't complain just vote with their feet and BF will never know why they are losing customers!
  • Ooop - forgot to mention that George went for his weigh in yesterday. He's just over 42k. The scales are in reception but the vet was chatting up the new receptionist and came over to see how George is doing. He was very pleased and commented that you can really see a difference - I said yes, that George is looking ripped - and the Vet burst out laughing, saying he'd never heard that particular phrase used about a dog before. Turns out he's a weight lifter and belongs to a local private gym that I didn't know existed.
  • I had an asthma attack today and spent most of the afternoon up the hospital. But good news is when i went to the doctors after he congratulated me on my weightloss lol.
  • Oh princess hope your feeling much better now.

    Michele
  • My chest still feels a bit tight and I still feel dizzy but I think thats because I had so much ventolin so I'm staying at the parents tonight (was with them for a few days and planned to get the train tonight) and will have to get the superearly train tomorrow to go to work. Will be an hour or so late but it can't be helped.

Not had an asthma episode like that in ages. he said it was an acute reaction to something, I think its my aunts tree it has loads of pollen stuff on it at the moment.

But I'm chuffed about my weight they pulled up my old records (I'm not normally at that surgery anymore I had to go to my mums as an emergency) and since my last weigh in I'd put on loads of weight and then lost it and more again. So yay me. He said my BMI was good
  • I'm really busy at work too, between that and keeping my mother occupied I'm not getting much computer time at the moment. I'm still managing to get my runs in, I've managed over 20 miles since I got back from Amsterdam on Monday with another 50 minutes this morning.

I'm looking forward to getting control of the kitchen back next week, although it's not been as bad as I feared. Although with my work schedule for next week I'm not sure how much time for cooking there will be. Still, I have lots of nice new tactics for making sure I don't eat rubbish so I'll try to use them!

I'm still eating too much and keep on putting off the day I sort it out. I'm not actually gaining so I'm getting away with it, but I don't like the out of control feeling and want to get back on track properly.
  • yeah best to keep it on track before you do start gaining. its so easy to keep eating when you don't gain immediately, and its a bugger to find a balance between maintaining and losing or gaining.
  • I popped to ASDA this evening. I bought a new sports bra it was only
£4.00, I have it on now as I was planning to go to the gym. I have to say
its a great fit and as good as my berlei one that cost me £22.00.

Right I must go and work my body.

    Michele
  • Hello chickies!

    Sorry about your asthma princess.

YP I'm glad you're at least aware that you're not 100% on it, that, I think is half the battle... And you will get back on track when things have calmed down. Life throws lots of stuff at us sometimes and it's ok to take a break

Wow, Michelle, methinks I'll be heading to ASDA! I need new boobie-holders!

I have trashed my legs at the gym, I finished early on the weights so I did about 20 minutes on level 9 on the recumbent bike just to keep me amused! Then I went to and I felt all floaty light, all the way home till some pulled out in front of me! Whoops, there went my zen!

I am off to bed now before I give in to the chocolate temptation. I need my R&R more than my chocolate fix!

    Nighty night
