I've been there for, oooh let me see now... A whole year! So I know how frustrating it is! Try and see this plateau as a maintenance break. Keep up with your good eating and exercise. Choose another plan, like 1500 kcals a day and 3 times a week weight training, and 3 times a week cardio. It's not different things that will shift the weight (although sometimes that can be the thing "body boredom" but it doesn't seem to be the case here), it's MORE!

Busting through my plateau I started weight training, along with the kickboxing that I already did, and just now I'm trying to start jogging as well. I've also reduced my calories and I really journal them every day.

If you are quite near goal, it will take more effort than it has been doing, and it will be slower. SLOW SLOW SLOW! I'm currently losing at about 2lbs a MONTH!

Just keep with the experimenting till something works, I would recommend sticking with a new plan for at least a month before trying something else.

And last but not least, just don't give up!

maybe you could swap your focus away from weight loss for a while? I know that is your aim but while the plateau is frustrating why don't you focus on something else which will take your mind off it but will keep you on track.

try some different low cal recipes, go to the gym and look for classes or sports you haven't tried - you never know, you might find something you love! Maybe see how many different activities/classes you can do in a week or introduce an extra 10-20minute walk every evening or morning.

something small might break the plateau but it might help the frustration to not be thinking about it so much.

Good work my lovely - you are an inspiration!

try so hard, how tall are you? I wish I was 11st 7lb!

If your bf doesn't like how you look, maybe you should be the one doing the looking! I'm glad the "piglet pig" man is now an EX! Be kind to yourself, this kind of thing takes time and you are diong it because you love your body rather than hate it right? Hating your body never gets you anywhere! You'll still hate it when it's x pounds lighter!

i am 11.4 and 5.5 tall big build wide shoulders and hips what about you ? iv just been to see my sister and im now depressed as she is about 8stone
i think id be happy if i were just confident but sometimes i know this is really weird but sometimes when i see myself without clothes before shower for example i can physically throw up with disgust but its strange because when i look at really really big people i am not disgusted and my ex was 21st at the time and i was just under 10 when he called me piglet hmm

Ugh the nerve of the man! going back to your question about the spuds, peas, carrots, etc you way OVERESTIMATED the cals in that dinner trysohard..its more like 400-500 cals depending on how much you had...the veg including the spuds are very low in cals and next to nothing in fat i've just discovered the same thing about chocolate too yesterday I had poached egg on toast for brekky (I don't usually have anything) by lunchtime I was ravenous so ended up going to MacD's for lunch..I had medium fries and 6 chicken McNuggets (they were horrible ) then I had crisps butties for break at work with canned pears for dessert then when I got home last night I ate a half pound bag of chocolate werthers and drank two Stella's i've been eating halloween "candy" for the past week (smarties and peanut M+M's) and i've lost this week too so i've found my answer its not chocolate that makes me fat its carbs (especially bread) and it explains why I never gained weight when I was a quality controller at a choccie factory ( I weighed 8sts) I'm not saying that you should live off chocolate but if you fancy a mars bar go ahead and have one
