Ha, well It's been raining all week...

I've just got tickets for Jamie Cullum at the weekend and I think it'll be raining then again... Thunder storms forecast for tomorrow :dz:

We've got a big family bbq on Sunday - so I hope it warms up a bit by then, it'd be nice to actually sit in the garden while hubbie barbies away, rather than him outside cooking with everyone sat inside waiting :dizzy: it wouldn't be the first time!

I've been shopping today!!! I got some brown linen pants, an orange kaftanie thing (which is nicer than it sounds) some shoes, a handbag and a jacket! And I fit into GAP exercise clothes, which is very exciting!!!

So have I! Jacket from Tesco and another skirt from Warehouse. Piccies on the picture thread...

Yay. I've spent the evening clearing my wardrobe out and can proudly (and honestly) say that I don't own any clothes that are too small for me any more. I've got rid of the very biggest clothes, and I'm now down to clothes that fit properly and clothes that are only a bit big. I don't think I've ever been in the position where there's nothing in the too small pile at the back!

(well, to be fair, some of the clothes I've bought recently are a little tighter than I'd like, but wearable and if I'm between sizes I'm confident enough to buy the smaller ones and wait a couple of weeks if necessary)

HOORAY! Wardrobe clearing is soooo gratifiying!

All I can say today is... OOOOW! :wl: But in a good way... :dz:

I'm not allowed to buy bottom half things at the moment as I went up almost a stone during my final exams so I have a few things that are too tight and I am planning on getting back down there in no time. Being apple shaped may make you look like an apple but at least I lose weight off my middle.

I've had a closet clearout too  there was stuff all over the :censored: place :dunno: I did'nt know that I owned so much stuff  i've got six giant binbags of stuff to get rid of now  and get a load of the waist size on those jeans on the right :faint: I can't believe that I was once so tiny  I think i've finally given up on the idea of ever fitting in those again

YP1 07-28-2005 02:52 PM

Those are tiny!!!

I didn't have anything that small to throw away. The thing that annoys me is all the clothes that I grew out of and then kept til I fit back in them, then going through my wardrobe I realised I missed my opportunity and they're too big now!!!

Big achievement of the day - I went out for lunch with a friend. Not only did I order something relatively healthy (feta, roast pepper and rocket wrap), but having allowed myself a side order of chips I ended up leaving half of them because I was full! It's a long time since I've not given into that compulsion to clear the plate.

cat90 07-28-2005 03:08 PM

LOL  how ironic..there is no danger of me ever missing the boat so to speak

dilleight 07-29-2005 08:11 AM

Hmmm tiny jeans! I have never been that skinny!! Also leaving food, that is so my problem, although I did manage not to eat my undercooked noodles yesterday.........hm perhaps not such an achievement!!
Does anyone else find that at the gym where ever you work out someone taller than you blocks your line to the TV?? I go to fitness first and everything is in rows facing 6 TVs and I had to switch cross trainer when a really tall man was doing hill walking right in front of the OC.

cat90 07-29-2005 01:12 PM

:rollpin: Damn! Not in front of the O.C. :faint:

veggie 07-29-2005 01:14 PM

I've still never seen the OC. I may start watching Lost the ads for it are very odd.

cat90 07-29-2005 01:25 PM

I like them both Veggie :D the OC is better than Lost though ;)

Got instructions on a new job today and I so want to play with the software rather than writing the contract for it! It sounds like really whizzy weight management software, recommending food and exercise and with all sorts of cool features.

And then came back to the office and had to finish off drafting the contract with the chocolate company to get me craving again...
