Ooh isn't the new thing (grey bar) separating the sticky threads from the other threads ace? I do like it.

My husband and I went grocery shopping today and he bought a bag of Minstrels for himself. He started eating them on the way home, with the open bag on his lap. I sort of looked at them curiously, as I've never had them before, and the smell of chocolate was tempting me. Finally I just grabbed one and ate it. And that's it. I had one. I didn't have half the bag, I didn't have a handful, I only had a single one and that was enough! I was so pleased with myself. I think I'm finally kicking that starve/binge mentality at last.

I have been out on the lash at the weekend! Hahahahaha!

Had a bra crisis! (bought the wrong size cos it was on the wrong hanger!) But managed to borrow some clothes from my skinny mate who I was out with - a size 12 skirt and a 10 top!

Saying that, I bought some cropped trousers that were a size 16 on the same day! What is up with that!

Anyways, we had a great time, and I ended up piggy-backing a 16 stone boy! Go ME!

I love my bike!

size 10! wow!

One day, she dreams, dreamily...

I finally got my Special K body fat monitor today. I know it's probably not the most accurate way to check, but I took a reading and to my delight I was "overfat" rather than "obese". That made my day!

BMI's still 31 though

That's great, YP! I long for the day when I'm only 'obese', not 'morbidly obese'.

Hello all...how is everyone faring in this hot weather? Having said that though, today it is overcast and very breezy, not the day for sitting under the parasol...

I am back from my 2 weeks holiday in Edinburgh. The weather was almost perfect for the whole of the fortnight. It was raining when I flew in and it rained the next day and then it was heatwave stuff except for one rainy day ...strangely enough that was a Wednesday too when it rained...I wonder why the weather chooses to rain on a Wednesday in Edinburgh...he he?

I did lots of touristy things whilst I was there although didn't go out with Linus as much as we both had expected to. As she and the family had just moved into their new house only a couple of weeks earlier, there were always workmen of various mentality to deal with and her hospital appointments to go to. We did however manage to go to the Botanic Gardens which were so lovely and peaceful even though there was a police helicopter hovering over Princes Street which is all of a 3 minute or so flight away.
One highlight for me was a boat trip to the Bass Rock, in the middle of the Forth, which is the largest Gannet breeding roost in the UK. We also sailed round to Craig Rock where I saw three seals basking in the sun on the rocks. I cannot wait to get the photos developed...
Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Tootoot...never mind...next time!!

Frus...SIZE 10!!!!! My goodness, you are doing so well..you must be at target by now.
Veggie...who is Rufus Wainwright??!

Teel, when's Linus's sproglett due? I'm still not at goal yet! Going to start weightlifting and not weigh myself! (I've managed it for 4 weeks, but that's only cos I know I'll get a horrible surprise! Hahahaha!) Although the weightlifting is going to start tonight! I have been eating 6 small meals a day in preparation! I think it's going well, I don't feel hungry and I'm not eating junk food, so it must be good!

Laters people, there's dancing frames to design!

I've never heard of him either...

Big news of the day in YP-land. I went shopping... and bought some clothes in Warehouse! They only go up to size 16 as far as I know, but I managed to find something which not only fits, but makes me look surprisingly thin.

This is a good thing, and I intend to post something on the piccy thread when I get round to taking more photos of me wearing them
