What made you think of it then :?: :dizzy:  I thought of trying it months ago but had my lazy can't be bothered head on then  did 30 minutes today before "numb bum" syndrome kicked in  next invention is "soft seat" i'll be sewing two cords to a cushion to tie onto seat :cloud9: we'll see if that helps tomorrow ;)

That's really great Cat, I'm so impressed, that shows true dedication. Perhaps we should have awards for those who have worked especially hard - how about a halo  ? My award for my recent efforts should be this :(
What a tidy space, I'd not dare to show anyone where I'm surfing from - too many piles of games (my 'little' dears', not mine, honest!) and towers of paper, etc.

:nono: Tai your award is'nt :( its at least :) Managed an hour on computer bike tonight :cp: cushion did'nt work out though  it boosted me up too much and my legs were almost hitting the keyboard  and it tipped me forward too so I felt like I was falling off :( never mind i'm sure my bum will get used to it eventually :D

Curves, weights and walking :) Am very proud of ME :)

Thanks Cat, very generous of you, I dare not go to weigh in this week as I know how bad I've been!!

I never got around to riding a proper bike myself 'cos the saddles are so uncomfortable. I never learned to ride as a child 'cos my Dad was a policeman and saw the results of too many bike/car crashes :( and the roads were too busy (We lived in the Guernsey in the Channel Islands, lots of narrow roads and too many cars, even way back in the 60's). On a lighter note, Bikes were the reason my hubby and I got together, as he offered to teach me to ride his  . I can ride in a straight line, but can't take my hands off the handlebars to signal  !! My Mum has a great exercise bike but doesn't often use it. Wish I had the room, and I'd take it off her. It's a great idea surfing at the same time, not so boring - or you could listen to the radio - what's that like in your part of the world?

Cat you can buy gel seat covers that stop the :o try searching google or something... any bike shop should have them too.

cat90 02-15-2005 01:00 PM

Already thought of that Frus ;) I have one on my "proper" bike and went downstairs to nick it a couple of nights ago but it did'nt fit :( my bike has a slimline seat (like sitting on a razor blade as that guy in the ad used to say  ) and the exercise bike seat is a lot wider although wider does'nt necessarily mean comfier :o (ooh err missus!)

Tai, Radio is good but I usually have tv on  which is to the left of my puter on the pic  I surf the net, watch telly and peddle :dizzy:

cat90 02-15-2005 04:44 PM

Did my 2mls :tread: :stress: I can tell its been a long time :( can only get easier from now on :D

cat90 02-15-2005 07:11 PM

Just did 45mins on the "razor blade" too

BritinNJ 02-16-2005 12:02 AM

:cheer: :bravo: Cat.. you re doing excellent with all that exercise :)

I didn't get to curves today, but I did walk and shall do my weights before beddiebyes.
Have you thought about shoving a pillow down your drawers before you sit on the razor blade? That way it wouldn't slip off the seat as you peddled :D

cat90 02-16-2005 07:13 PM

 They're too thick Chris :( will try a thinner piece of foam I think. Just did an hour on the bum numbing contraption :cp:

2frustrated 02-17-2005 03:50 PM

2 1/2 hours Kickboxing!

Was wrestling with this one lady who's lots shorter than me, but she had me on the floor every time... OOOER MISSUS!!

cat90 02-17-2005 09:12 PM

2 1/2 hours? :faint:

Just done 30 mins on computer bike :) I was'nt going to do anything so I can't grumble.

NoSenseOfAdventure 02-18-2005 04:33 AM

Cat, you can get cycling shorts with a padded seat. Maybe those'd help :dunno:.

xxx

cat90 02-18-2005 12:36 PM

:thanks: ;) now I did'nt think of them

Day off today :hyper: so i'm either going to :tread: or go on a "proper" bike ride seeing as the weather is glorious :sunny:
