Default SW Green day lunches

Do any of you have any recipes/ideas for packed lunches (preferably syn free!) for my Green Days?

I am struggling with it. I need to take a packed lunch 3 days a week.
Would love to hear any suggestions.

You can get Quorn 'ham' and 'turkey' slices at the cold section in the supermarkets ~ could try these? (and let us know what their like).

Pasta, tuna (HE) and mayonnaise (couple of sins)

Pasta salad? Cous-cous salad?

Hark at me ~ you could swear I was miss adventureous with my lunch! Thankfully, there is a canteen and I have good old reluiable Jacket Potato and Beans on most green days! If I'm feeling adventurous, I add some cheese!

Hi Artemis!

Here's what I take to work on Green Days:-
1. Batchelors Pasta Sauces made up are great to take and very filling! Some of them
are Syn free and others are minimal Syns.
2. Heinz 98% Fat free Noodles are all free and good to take made up too - whack in
some stir fried veg night before if you keen
3. I find taking wholemeal rolls and boiled eggs & Quorn Sausages a good meal too.
4. Jacket Potatoes are great too - I usually get a plain one then buy a tub of
flavoured low fat cottage cheese from like Tesco or somewhere and eat the lot. Or
with beans as Heavensbug said.

Good luck!

Thanks for these ideas, I tend to be very blinkered and just think "sandwich" for lunch, but I usually use my HE's at supper time so I was stuck for lunches.

Never thought to try the pasta n sauce cold before, I bet its yummy.

I plan to get back to my diet first week in October (going on holiday next week).

I just found out why I wasnt losing much weight when I first started the SW diet in the summer - I was eating the SuperNoodles (not the 98% fat free ones) as a free food!! Literally stuffing myself with them - dunno why I thought they were free

Thanks again, I do get stuck for food ideas and will keep pestering you all for more suggestions as I get back into it.

Pasta n'sauce is yummy cold!

I find I lack imagination sometimes ~ I bought loads of cookbooks and talk to other SW members to get inspiration!

When I started SW 6 weeks ago I was eating loads of tins of meatballs on Red days as I thought they were free! They used to be but are now loads a sins!

Off anywhere nice? I'm off on Friday so I will be 'off plan' for a couple of weeks!
