Default Refined Sugars?

well i had the doctors and dieticians the other day. It has been suggested that I take refined sugars out of my eating as it looks like I eat too many of them. I think (looking at it) that this might be a very good idea as I do have quite bad skin, I feel sluggish. So it could be a good idea to cut out these empty calories
I just don't know how I will cope doing it. I have to do it for the month and see how I feel.
I'm back at 14 stone although TOTM is playing havoc on me just now and feeling a bit under the weather...meh!
I just feel like im in a rut with that I don't feel like im really going anywhere and I know I am a chocoholic!
Help!!! I need some encouragment or tips!

Hi HugMeQuick!

I find that certain foods make me crave chocolate so I try and avoid eating these.

Before I started my diet 4 weeks ago, I was eating a vast amount of chocolate. I'm finding that I'm not craving it as much as I thought I would.

It's currently my TOTM and I am craving it far more ~ I'm finding eating certain fruit is keeping it at bay and I haven't raided the fridge yet!

Pink Lady apples and strawberries and very sweet and their taking the cravings away.

I suffer from excema and since starting my diet my skin is a LOT better! Another incentive to eat healthily!

Have you been told to cut chocolate right out?

yeah i have but i'll be fine with that because I know that I can do it. Yeah I have eczema too which is frightfully annoying so I am going to try it.

I didn't eat any choc for about 2 months now I keep buying it grr.

If you feel addicted then it's probably best to cut it out totally like I did with crisps. I'm just addicted to light babybels instead now!

I love pink lady apples and pineapple. Morrisons do lovely pineapple pre prepared for about £1.50.
