veggie 04-11-2004 08:08 PM

You'll be fine have your syns. No starving :nono: I had loads of alcohol on Friday (I FELL OVER :o ) you just have to forget about it and move on.

Smiling Sal 04-12-2004 04:14 AM

OK Veggie and Kirsty you have got me very interested there is a class within walking distance on Wednesday night at 7. Am very nervous about the thought of going, I know it will be fine once I get there, walking through that door the first time is the worst thing. Am also nervous as this is totally different to anything I have done before have never food optimised, maybe this will be the thing that works, have read all the recipes on the website and they make it sound so easy.

Do they encourage you to exercise, even gently, didn't see much of that on the website ?

Will be a nervous wreck all day Wednesday

linus 04-12-2004 04:29 PM

carol believe you me if i can do it anyone can ive never ever been on a diet and this works for me ive read and read the stuff they give you and i cant find anything to trip me up { so ive no exscuse}

Smiling Sal 04-12-2004 04:39 PM

have read and read and read all the stuff on the web, it does look surprisingly straight forward. Wednesday will tell

veggie 04-12-2004 07:40 PM

Tis easy ish. Even for fussy me. I still miss pizza though ;) M&S count on us chips are the best though whole box for 1.5 syns :T :T :T :T

Smiling Sal 04-16-2004 05:30 AM

I can't believe how much I ate yesterday and this is a diet ?

I had a 2 egg ommelette with mushrooms and peppers for breakfast
a large salad with chilli sauce (0.5 syn) and a baked potato followed by some grapes for lunch
Some home made veg soup and a oriental chicken stir fry (chicken was healthy option)
then a pear and a muller light yogurt
And for supper 2 slices of toast (healthy option) with banana mashed on them

I can see from Veggie and Linus weight losses it works, but never have I ate so much whilst trying to slim.........

Was great fun am having a red day today

linus 04-16-2004 05:36 AM

ive had all red days so far but then i am a total carnivore just you keep eating and the weight just keeps coming off i mean look at what ive had since last thursday all that booze and birthday cake and the choc cake on wednesday night and i still lost three pound just dont want to think about how much i should have lost

Smiling Sal 04-16-2004 08:27 AM

Am definatley a carborhydrates girl. Although for half a syn on a red day I can eat the whole packet 100gs of bernard matthews sage and onion chicken breast. So because I could I did. :) :) :) :dizzy:

HI Carol

I'm anothr carbs girl. Could not even think of doing the Atkins (very veggie unfriendly anyway!). Hope you enjoyed the "bootiful" chicken breast! I have been depressed looking in the new Syns book - even more Quorn has syns attached (yeah right, like I even give a monkey's as to the syn value!!!

veggie 04-16-2004 09:03 AM

It's great eating loads on a diet isn't it? Baked potatoes with cheese at night are the best! :D Especially when they are syn free with cheese a healthy extra. I do like 2 tablespoons of light coleslaw on them as well (1 syn) :T :cloud9: Ok enough about my potato love ;)

cat90 04-16-2004 11:22 AM
