lol @ Veggie's stomach touching. I was so worried last week. I didn't think that I would have lost any weight as I didn't feel like I had punished myself enough - lol. The Pasta and Sauce packets are yummee (even made with skimmed milk and no btter - lol). The mushroom and wine was my fave but I can't find it in the shops. My second fave is Cheese and broccoli.

I think all the groups passwords change every week. They have an on-line calculator now so all you need to do is put in any free ingredients and then it asks for cal, carb etc (usually found on food packs anyway) and it then calculates the Syns for you. You don't even havt to name the product.

I've tried Slimming world, I joined last year with a friend. I lost about a stone, (14lbs). I managed to keep it off, but as everything eating habits creep up.

I haven't gained any weight, but i'd like to loose more so i Have Started again today.

If you havn't already tried it, you must. I know the diet inside out. If you need any help just ask.

well girls i spoke to the leader at weight watchers today just for some info as i was planning to go on thurday and everything was great how welcomed id be right up until i was asked what weight id was and her attitude changed and i got the distinct impression that i was not welcome so im going to contact the local slimming world and give that a try ill let you know how i get on

That's outrageous! :eek: I'm sure it is not typical of WW. How did her attitude change?

she told me that there wasnt anyone new in the group and she didnt think that there was anybody as heavy as i am i dont know if she was just being overly concerned but that was not the impression that i got so im now joining slimming world on thursday so any tips will be greatly appreciated

They must be a skinny lot! She sounds rubbish. I'm back at sw on Thursday need to lose half a pound for a stone lost since I started going. :D

Tips -

eat lots of free food (on green plan - syn free chips mmm :D )

borrow books and mags (you can at the group I go to)

use the syn online calculator etc when you get the password for the sw members bit of site (given out at group)

post here lots :lol: ;) phone your consultant/email them if you need to

Hi Lorraine I don't think Slimming World would like the password being given out to non members. I don't care about them but I'm thinking of 3fc don't want to get them into trouble so putting the password on the forum might be a bad idea. ;) Maybe a kind person would send it to you though ;)

I joined SW last week. I seem to be eating masses and can not believe I can eat like this and still lose weight. Will find out next Thursday!!!! Wish me luck everyone. Would love to buddy up with other SW dieters for mutual support, tip swapping etc. Anyone interested? :)
