Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd let you know that is another 2lbs off this week. totally surprised as I can't really feel it but still good! Also got Slimmer of the Week.

We tried a quiche in class last night and it was fantastic. Only 1 syn on a green day for the whole oven dish!

If anyone wants the recipe let me know. Haven't made it yet.

Luv Kers

I would like the recipe please. We never try recipes at the group I go to. I used to tell the group leader about things that I had tried but stopped as nobody elses did and it looked like I was sucking up - lol.

Ha! I know what you mean Superwitch!

I made a low syn Chocolate Cheesecake and took it to class once and felt like a suck up - so didn't do that again :)

I love SW quiche too. What are you adding to it for it to be a syn? I only know it as being syn free on either red or green depending on what you throw in it. Yumyum! And served with syn free chips - yumyum.

Time to go eat me thinks!

kermac ~ I'd love to know the recipe! :D

Does anyone know the syn value of Tesco vegetarian burgers? They're the ones in the green box in the 'vegetarian' frozen food range. They're made from soya and wheat protein, so I've counted them as free, but can't find them rated on syns online, or the food directory. Am I the only one who loves them? They're on a par with Linda McCartney flame-grilled burgers, but cheaper. Quorn burgers just don't do it for me anymore! :D

Try the syn calculator. I could only find the veg and cheese one which is 7.5 syns.

Thanks, guess I'll have to. I had another look and have a feeling SW may have mistook them as organic, since they're in a green box! They're 57g each, which is the same as the phantom organic ones listed.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Muller light ideas

undefined
Hey Guys!

Its been ages since I posted on here and I think I've only actually posted once! But anyway I've had a read and caught up on everyones posts and comments! Well done everyone in doing so well!

I have a few things worth trying with Mullerlights which I thought I would share.

My fav is the Jelly using the Rowntrees sugar free jelly sachets and two yoghurts of the same flavour. The Jelly is 2 syns per sachet which makes 4 servings (but I make two big portions of it for us). You empty the sachet into a jug and fill with half a pint of boiling water, stiring well to disolve, then instead of cold water you add two mullerlights mix well and then put in the fridge to set. It comes out like a thick creamy Jelly! YUM! I've tried Strawberry with two strawberry yoghurts and aslo with one Strawberry and one Vanilla Yoghurt. Blackcurrent with blackcurrent yoghurt and Manderin with manderin yoghurt! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Also apparently a yogurt in the freezer for 4 hours they go like icecream!! (trying that tomorrow)

Also, can anyone tell me how many sins are in the sveltesse yoghurts, I loved them when they came out?! and my boyfriend is askin if anyone knows how many sins are in ginger cake? i cant remember who makes it and we cant find it the directory.

anyway g2g casulty is on!!!

Hi Mickey  I couldn't find sveltesse yoghurt on the online search thing. If you put all the details in the online calculator on the members site you can find them that way.

Heavensbug 08-22-2004 09:23 AM

Mmm, I think I might be experimenting with jelly and mullerlights at some point! :D

veggie 08-22-2004 10:10 AM

Mullerlight not being vegetarian is so unfair. :(

Ella77 08-23-2004 10:32 AM

Boasters.. oh how I love them. Currently munching on a chocolate and hazlenut one now now. A very tasty 4.5 syns though...

Kelly M 08-23-2004 11:34 AM

Sveltese yoghurts - i only know that lemon fit cheesecake ones are 1.5 syns each and the fruit crumble ones that come with them in the 4 pack are free...so no doubt the others are all different too?

Heavensbug 08-24-2004 05:08 PM

Lemon cheesecake, mmmm they sound divine!

Think I'll keep my eye out for them next time I'm in tescos! :D

I seem to have developed a liking for fun size milki ways. 3.5 sins! :)

I'm now hooked on Cinnamon Grahams cereal bars. They're only 5.5 syns, very yummy, and as a bonus, full of calcium!
