Grill your fruits, veggies, or lean meat for savory, smokey, and satisfying dishes without having to feel bad about losing some additional weight. Don't restrict yourself of hearty meals.
Try these tasty and healthy barbecue recipes for weight loss:
turkey burger with mushrooms and kale
What you require:
8 burger buns, ideally made of wheat
4 baby bella mushrooms and half a kilogram of ground turkey
Fresh curly kale, two cups
2 tablespoons olive oil and 1/4 cup finely sliced sweet onion
1 tablespoon freshly cut oregano leaves, finely minced
1 tablespoon of chipotle sauce
minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon
14 teaspoon of salt
Slices of avocado for serving
Onion and garlic are sautéed in olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until they are soft. Add the kale and mushrooms after stirring, and simmer the vegetables covered until tender. Let it cool. When ready, combine ground turkey with the mushroom and kale mixture and season with salt, oregano, and chimichurri. Patties should be formed with clean hands. Cook to desired doneness on a preheated grill over medium-high heat, flipping once. Put your preferred sauce on the buns before adding the turkey patty and avocado slices.
Peaches with Honey Yogurt Grilling
What you require:
3 pitted and halved peaches
2 cups of Greek yogurt, plain
Honey, cinnamon powder,
and 1/4 cup
Greek yogurt and honey should be combined in a small bowl. Place aside. Peaches should be grilled cut side down over medium heat until grill marks emerge. When ready, drizzle honey and yogurt over the grilled peaches. Before serving, sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
Wraps with grilled beef and sweet potatoes
What you require:
six whole-wheat tortillas
6 cups of diced sweet potatoes steam-cooked with thinly sliced 1/2 kilogram sirloin steaks
3 cups of sliced cabbage, thin
1 cup of white onions, thinly sliced
1 cup of fresh basil, finely sliced
lime juice, 3 teaspoons
3 tablespoons of soy sauce with no added salt
two teaspoons of canola oil
1 1/2 teaspoons of hot sauce with garlic
1/9 cup brown sugar
Cook beef on a preheated grill over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until it is just cooked through (with a little pink in the center). Shake the ingredients in a glass container to thoroughly blend them before adding the lime juice, soy sauce, canola oil, garlic sauce, and brown sugar to make the dressing. In a bowl, combine the cabbage and onion with half of the dressing. A serving dish should have the grilled steak, sweet potatoes, and cabbage salad. The leftover dressing should be drizzled over the steak and sweet potatoes. Add tortillas to the dish.
