S/C/G: 12st 8lbs/12st 8lbs/9 stone

Height: 5ft

Default New SAHM that has no idea where to start :\

Hi there,

I'm 25 years old and the heaviest i've even been. EVER.
I used to exercise quite a lot but i've been suffering from chronic pain for the last few months, that and moving house has seen my weight rise.

I can't remember the last time i was under 12 stone, and at only 5ft, it doesn't look too good

I've tried everything, 5:2, slimming world, Teri-Ann, WW
I'm at a loss!

I have a fitbit but can't manage more than 10k steps whereas before i was hitting 25k etc.

Sorry for the ramble :|

Hi GirlGamer123,

Welcome!!

I know I can't speak of experience, but my mother has severe back pain and can't walk a lot or exercise a lot. She managed to lose weight simply by being very strict with her diet. It was the only way for her to manage that since she even had trouble doing simple tasks like laundry. What I mean to say is that you don't have to rely entirely on exercise to lose weight and that it is possible.
You'll find all the support that you need here!!! Enjoy the ride, you can do this!!

Hiya, I hope you are not too badly affected by the flooding where you are in Yorkshire?
I lost alot of weight a couple of years ago and initially it was being very strict about my calorie intake and a very little exercise as due to my weight I found it difficult to walk far. The fact that I put the weight back on is a long and sorry story I won't bore you with. This time I have knee pain and back pain and have started out the same way...not able to tolerate much exercise....except swimming.. so I figure that even if I am only walking slowly for 20 minutes it is better than not moving further than from the sofa to the fridge! Good Luck! This is a great forum.

I was def thinking about starting swimming! Will have to give it a go! I used to roller skate but it takes too long to recover at the moment.

I got weighed at the drs, i'm 12 stone 8, for definite.

Got an asda delivery coming tonight so going to batch cook some healthy meals and start cal counting!
