Default UK chunky, 40+ and new to 3FC...

Hi all,

I am new here and thought I would just pop in here and say Hi! I popped onto the other 'Introduction' and then saw the UK link there so thought I would pop on here and introduce myself too :-)

I have struggled with weight for over 15 years now, live in the North of the UK and am hoping by coming along here I may be encouraged to keep trying to lose the weight which has decided it wants to be my best friend for life.

Starting the long journey to weight loss again today but hey... one day at a time and now I have found 3FC I hope to also make some new friends along on my journey!

Hi Owly,

I'm also a newbie here and 40 plus ... I've heard losing weight is harder once you hit 40 but am hoping that's not the case for me lol looking forward to reading about your journey

All the best

Me too - 40+ and in North West England. I've put on about 10kg in the last 2 or three years, and now I am committed to losing it. I'm about half way there and have been using hill-walking as a tried and tested way of burning the fat away. It's hard work though and my weight loss is beginning to plateau!
