Have just joined today, and I have been on the alternate day diet for three weeks and so far have lost only four pounds.
I have been pretty assiduous in not eating more than 500 calories on down days but confess to eating anything I like on Up days, which includes fatty food and sweet things. Do I have to cut down more on Up days as well? I am an older lady so maybe it is harder to lose the weight which I really want to do for health reasons. I do walk at least three times a week for 20 to 30 minutes outdoors. and do Yoga regularly, once a week. This keeps me supple for my age.
