I go to zumba twice a week. I do weights three times a week and occasionally walk away the pounds with Leslie sansome.

Monday - Legs bus n tums ( medium impact aerobics )

Tuesday - Bodyattack

Wednesday - Bodypump

Thursday - Rest

Friday - Zumba

Saturday - Rest

Sunday - Bodypump.

I also walk to work every morning, it's 5 miles, I walk at around 5 mph, takes me 55 mins.


And I haven't lost weight. I've gained some through gaining muscle at Pump, but I have also gained fat, which is indescriubably depressing. My diet is better than ever and I now exercise more than ever. The weight has crept on over the last couple of years. I thought it was just something I was doing wrong at first, but now I am not convinced.

The only thing I can think of that is an anomaly is my contraceptive implant ( implanon ). I have a strong suspiscion it's playing jiggerypokery with my hormones. The leaflet did say a little weight gain is common, but I was NOT expecting over 2 stone in weight to go back on after working so hard to lose 5 stone

I hate the NHS. They discriminate against people who know their own minds and bodies. All I have ever wanted since I was a child myself, is to be sterilised ( I knew what this was, it as explained to me when a relative had it done ) and all they do is say I am too young and may change my mind . I will not, and have always detested children intensely , I have lived with my mind for 30 years , it hasn't changed in that time, my dislike of children is no less, and it isn't going to change .

Fortunately I have nearly saved enough money for a private sterilisation, to finally rid myself of both this implant and the ability to be inflicted with a parasite.
