Howdy
I've been overweight myself for many, many years and have mounting health issues and pain that is too much to handle anymore. So, I've made the decision to stop and start a new healthier lifestyle before my weight and health issues kill me.

My Mum is from England and I have been several times, but would you mind refreshing my memory as to what a stone is versus a pound.

Nice to have you here at 3FC's and good luck on your weight loss.

KELLI

Default speed of loss

Hi all thank you for your support I suppose that my judgement of my weight loss is too influenced by the claims made on adverts ect. But now I know different fast loss = fast regain cause you learned nothing. Stopped counting calories eat healthy and getting nice progress without the constant food cravings Just nedd to give up the smokes now

Hooray for you deciding that slow weight loss vs. quick is the best way to go. I have been on my journey since my son was a mere 3 years old. He just turned 18 a few weeks back. Have gone from 365 lbs. to 170 lbs. through the years. If it takes me another four years to lose my last 50 lbs...so be it. I've long sense learned that a little here and a little there lost is ever so a PLUS in the "minus" direction. Yeah!!!!

Have a Most Wonderful Day~
