Hi, I'd like to join you ladies in this challenge Been a month or so without a 3FC challenge, and I so need to get back into one!

So I aim to lose 7lb this month and do body combat twice a week and one weights session and one cardio session. Been so lazy with weights but I've got 6 weeks until I go on holiday so it's time to get a bit more dedicated

P.S. I'll add a SW tomorrow as I weigh in on Sundays.

Thanks Starbuck, I'm not quite sure how we managed that many years, it has all flown by so quickly!

Sanna Maria, I shall add you in tomorrow.

I'm guesstimating your goals to be 7lbs from 152lbs and 4 hours a week exercise, so 960minutes for the next 4 weeks.

Let me know if you want to change any of the numbers.

I'm actually looking foward to weighing tomorrow, I feel quite virtuous and less, erm, frumpy, dumpy and heavy ! I've managed to stay off the scales all week...... fingers crossed x

Week 1

I have decided to add an exercise tracker and to track the minutes of exercise I do as well as weight loss. So my pledge for the month is 10lbs and 750 minutes!

I'm guessing that July and August will be quiet here, all those holidays, kids off school make it difficult to concentrate! But I am determined to lose weight for September.

I have a 'slim' chance of promotion, so I want to look good and feel good, just in case!

Stef 224: 221: 214 and 60: 3lbs down but not enough exercise - bad me!
Starbuck 250: 253: 240 Enjoy your birthday, hun, then get back on the wagon!
honeythorn weight not specified and about 950 minutes if you include that class - welcome to the kick up the bum post
Sanna Maria 152: 152: 145 and 960mins welcome in
cat90 198: 198: 190 and 600mins (adjusted for 4 weeks if that's OK?)
IsabelleLuke 900mins of cardio. Do you want to pledge some pounds too?
hopefulchick 136: 136: 133 Hi! So close.... fingers crossed we can party hard at the end of the month (calorie free Starbuck!)

Same weight and same exercise minutes Cathy? No problem! I'll change it if that's not what you meant!

I noticed you looking at the other challenge thread - I agree that the OPs goals were scary. So I resisted the temptation and slunk back here!

Stef, thanks for adding me!

So excited to be part of this challenge, I think I'll make myself a little exercise ticker to keep track of the minutes right now so I won't forget.

Have a good week everyone!!!

Question: does sanding down my kitchen worktops count as exercise?

I'm using a little electric sander, so it's not that hard, but I am moving more than I usually would!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Perhaps I'll count it as ironing, similar motion! So no! No exercise minutes there!

Ah well!

Hello All!
How has your week been?
I've done body combat and half an hour of jogging this week and going to do some more jogging and weights today. Weighing in at 151.7 this morning so not a big loss this week. Foodwise I've not been good at all, not been overeating but I haven't really planned my meals and lunches to take to work, so this coming week I'll improve on that.

Back down to my ticker weight, thankfully lost that 3lbs of takeway weight.

Also going to see a consultant this week about my joint problems, so he may give ,e something to feel better and i'll be able to get back to healthy eating rather than comfort food.

Hi Ladies
Yes Stef I did mean same exercise and weightloss goals although i'm not off to a good start as i've been ill for the past month but today I feel better so I'll rack up some exercise minutes i'm going to resist weighing in until the end of the month so I don't get paranoid about it I'll be happy with anything

Week 2

Sorry. Other half injured his elbow which has thrown me off track this week.

I'm down a whole pound and up another 60 mins of exercise - not quite sure how!

Stef 224: 220: 213 and 120: 4lbs down but still not enough exercise - bad me!
Starbuck 250: 250: 240 Good luck with the doctor. Mine has very kindly given me more sleeping pills to see if I can get back into a good sleep routine. Hopefully I won't wake up shattered and not wanting to exercise!
