So I've lost 2lb and am now just into the normal BMI category. 12st 6 is also the number written on my old WW gold card,

It's strange, I thought I'd be more excited than this: I'm not sure it's sunk in yet. I'd better go and have some more coffee...
Oh that is fantastic - well done...be very proud of yourself....

I know what you mean about the excitement...when you have been so goal orientated it can feel a bit deflating when you actually get there, so it's worth setting a different target now, like for example, (as well as trying to shift those last couple of lbs because despute all my good intentions I still really want the 154).....I have set a body fat % goal for myself, that might be something you would consider to keep focused, and to get excited about???

But hopefully that cup of coffee gee'd you up and you are realising what an amazing achievement has been reached today!!!

Thanks Ellie! My main goal in the longer term (give or take a couple of lbs) is to really work on consistency with the exercise. I was never a regular exerciser in the past and it's only been during the last 9 months that I've really tried to address that. Health and fitness issues motivated me to start losing weight in the first place, this time. Mostly I've succeeded with the exercise, save for a few off-days and a couple of off-weeks, but I'm always aware I might fall back into old sedentary ways.

I am starting to build up short periods of running along with the walking, but my knees (which got knackered in my 20s, and I'm 46 now) don't entirely agree with this plan! I'm hoping if I'm careful and build up very slowly they'll be all right though. I would love to become one of those fit people that I see running the whole way around what is quite a large park...

Hi, It's me i'm back again to give this another try again!

I know it's late on into the month, but can I join in. I do my first new start weigh in tomorrow morning.

I've just been diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and am having terrible problems with my knees, so I really need to get the weight off asap!

I've also decided to adopt the Vegan diet, so that's taking a bit of getting used too.

Hope you all don't mind me gatecrashing your thread, I really need the support at the minute.

Feeling happy with myself that i've been out for the last two days with my boys in the lovely weather, and taken a picnic both times. Haven't bought any junk food, only ice cream for them. Haven't even had any coke or pepsi just water.
Hoping it will all pay off at the end of the week
