Well i woke up really excited, thinking I was going to be 11'6 as I had a perfect day yesterday (more or less) went running and did weights in a.m, and went to group bootcamp in the evening (drills etc - nasty stuff!!) - Food intake good, and agggh was 11'8.5, so up 1.5lbs - though I refuse to change my ticker, as I have to be down by next week...
This last bit is taking so long, and I would love to just say ok this is maintenance weight, but it feels like failing if I don't reach the goal I originally set - even though it was just a figure picked out of thin air, based on mid range BMI...god I just want the Losing bit to be OVER so i can focus on the maintaining.

Hi Ellie R,
I've had times like those - when you're 100% sure your weight is going to drop the next day ....and it doesn't. All I can say is don't let it get you down, keep going.....maybe weigh in mid-week and you will see the results...maybe its just a bit of water retention after the exercise you've done.

Keep me posted!
Thanks Lexi, yes i know, you're right, this last part is just so frustrating though.
Quite good re weighing this week, as am staying near work (its an hr and half away, and I usually just go down 2 days a week), and there is no potential for picking at food, and no scales, so next weigh not till Sat a.m - so that will be good for me I hope.
Ugh I know exactly what you mean, Ellie. I remember hanging at 201lbs and working soo hard, but the scale would not budge into the 199s... but we've just got to keep going! You've lost so much so far that there's no doubt that you'll manage this small bit left!
....
I'm having a skinny day. Down 0.6 to 191bs, so close to 189! Once I get to 189 it'll be less than 30lbs until my biggest mini-goal of applying to the police. I'll have already lost 25lbs, so I know I can lose those pounds...
Off to the gym, and then back to writing the rest of my dissertation!
Hang in there Ellie, the scales can be really frustrating, but remember they aren't 100% accurate and the numbers always seems to go up just when you think/desperately want them to go down!
I was really pleased with my weigh in today, I'm down 3lbs from last week and under my feb weight, my daily points have gone down by 1 AND this means I've lost 1.5 stone since starting losing weight (again) last year. I'm really pleased
