Thumbs up I hate buying clothes!

Why can I not find some clothes I like everything I try on in Evans

does not suit me even the web site has a vendetta against me

anything I like isnt available in my size its just like the stupid

shop!

I hate big baggy necks everything seems to be like that all the

things in my size look stupid as they are made for tall people

which I am not. Summer just makes me worse too I think Im just

suffering from summer fat person disease which makes me wear

more clothes than everyone else and feel stupid and hot.

Default clothes

I swing wildly between hating and loving buying clothes. Depends on how happy I am feeling about my body, regardless of size, I guess.

At the moment I'm having more luck with mail order. Have you tried La Redoute or Simply Be? Some of their stuff is ok.
I also like BiB at Hennes.

Maria Donatti have a website too but they seem to use a lot of polyester, which I don't personally like.

I did find a great website for a firm that will ship from the US if you are looking for something different. Prices aren't too bad either: .www.sizeappeal.com

I found this site via www.realcurvy.com which has links to lots of places for clothes

Dorothy Perkins does up to a size 22.

Etam do up to a size 28 or 30.

BiB at Hennes do up to a size 28 or 30.

Ann Harvey does up to a 28 (I think) but is more formal - and expensive!

Catalogues are a great help, check out www.ShopQ.co.uk for a list of catalogues, they seem to each have their own range of clothes aimed at the size 16/18+ market.

I wonder why here in the UK we have such a limited range of shops - I went shopping yesterday with money in my purse and really struggled to get decent summer clothes. I could only shop in BiB at H&M (which I find a bit cheap and nasty as several things from there have fallen apart), Evans & Ann Harvey and that was in a big city!! I actually ended up buying a pair of cropped capri pants which are exactly the same as some I bought about 3 years ago!!

Thanks for listening - needed to vent...

Cor blimey, just popped to that donna site place, the prices are horrendous! Or have I been away so long now that I don't know how much things cost in pounds?

No, New Jersey lassie, you are right they are phenomenally expensive, the pound-to-dollar exchange rate hasn't changed that much

Also, trying to find a pair of size 22 linen crop pants for someone who is 5'4" is the next Mission Impossible I'm sending Tom Cruise on. Thinking about it he's not much taller than that himself
