Default Monday...a new week

Here we go UKFC another Monday morning this week will bring a lot of challenges for all of us but together we can get through it and come out at the end of the week a little lighter, as someone once said all we are looking for is progress not perfection.
Let's do it!!
( I do not know how long my motivation will keep up but reading everyones journals etc really makes me feel I am not alone, Thanks everyone for sharing them, I do not have the technology!! )

You are welcome , I find reading all those helpful hints and tips on everyones journals so inspiring. There are some fantastic stories out there......please remind me of this in a week or two when it all starts going downhill for me

Default Monday Evening Meal

Hows this for an evening meal Total 6.1/2 points

Chicken Chasseur, veggies and jacket potato, all done in 30 mins in the micro.

So today
2 weetabix 2
OJ = 0.5
Milk (1/2 pint includes some for drinks) = 1

2 bread = 2
1 slice Turkey = 1
Apple 0.5

plus 6.1/2 for Main Meal = 13.1/2 points in total

2.1/2 for treats = 16 total

plenty for the wekend

With the help of a friend I have discovered a new breakfast - an ounce and a half of porridge oats mixed with a Muller Lite yoghurt and left to stand for 30 mins. Its really nice! Any flavour is good - but I am using toffee!!!! I sliced a banana in to it this morning and it tasted like the inside of a banoffee pie.

No idea - I'm counting calories. The oats are 150 but the yoghurt is my 'milk allowance' (if you see what I mean). It was only a smallish banana - around 70 cals.

It was really nice and has kept me feeling OK all morning - so far!

Both of those sound really good. Never thought of making jelly with lemonade and muller lite with oats - yum yum

Thanks for the idea, TQ!

I had a dinner party last night so I made diet blackcurrent jelly with diet blackcurrent pop (I didn't have any lemonade) and let it almost set - then I sort of roughed it up and layered it to wine glasses with vanilla Muller Lite in between the layers and served it as an alternate dessert. It went better than the very rich chocolate mousse I had slogged over - and I got to have a dessert for a change.
