You say you want a buddy? well I am also an artist though retired now, I live on the south coast of England where at the moment it is very cold but we do not have the snow everyone else seems to be getting. Hello Vivienne
Welcome to 3fc, I have been posting since last June and have made loads of new friends and people who encourage me and don't make "I told you so" noises when I fall off the wagon. I am relaxing over the festive season but intend to start again in the new year, hopsfully with renewed enthusiasm. I lost approx 48 pounds last year but could stand another hundred!!! I am a 54 year old wife and mother to an 19 year old daughter. I live in Derbyshire which I think is a beautiful part of thr country though I have to say that Dorset is lovely too, I particularly like Swanage. I still work full time for Consignia but I hope retirement is not too far away.

Hi Cherrycoke,

I used to live in Glossop in Derbyshire and yes it is one of the pretty counties. Dorset is very beautful too but only had little hills and lovely sandy beaches some are the best in Europe. They all have blue flags down here. I love derbyshire as I learnt to ski there when much younger. I will continue posting as I hope to get through my lists of wants to do in 2002. I have a lot of weight to lose and am really go to try harder this summer. will keep in touch

Well Vivienne I went back to work today and went back on plan. I had a reasonably good day. i weighed in today at 233 and in an ideal world I will lose another 100 pounds. I should also like to win the lottery but I don't think that will happen either but with support from people I meet on this site I will lose some more.
