hi guys,
well, ive been to my GP last week, who told me that I need to be referred to a dietician. I'm with BUPA, so I'll get a private appointment sometime soon hopefully. Does anyone know if BUPA actually covers stuff like that?

Good luck with your weigh in Kim. I have a few weeks until mine so I am just going about things as normal at the moment.

Why isn't that good? 1kg is 2.2 lbs. We are told that a healthy weight loss it between one and two pounds a week. So, that sounds like you are right on the healthy weight loss to me.

Plus, remember when we are saying 4kg, etc a lot of us are getting weighed monthly. So, that isn't that much more than you.

It has taken me nearly a year to lose my 50 and a bit pounds.. We are generally on these pills because it is extra hard for use to lose. It is just something we have to get our head around.

That is why I stopped setting myself timed goals (ie lose 15 by xmas, etc) because I figure it is just setting myself up to disappointed if I lose 13 and not that 15. Then I see the 13 as a failure rather than seeing every one of those 13 as a success.

thanks for making me feel a lot better.
u r right, resonable weight loss is about 1-2 lbs a week.
i think i was just being greedy!
my husband said the same thing u said.
i dont no wat i'll do without u people! i think i'll get depressed without u lots.
well i felt a bit proud this evening wen we went for a walk, i was able to wear my new jacket size 14. was able to sqeeze in a size 14 trousers but couldn't fasten it coz my belly wouldn't allow it. but i was over the moon. yaye.
thanks again.

Hi All

Checking in again after more than two weeks absence. Just returned from Orlando this morning. The good news is that I reached my mini target of 50lbs lost the day before I left. Don't know what damage I've done out there but I continued with the Slimfast & Xenical but did eat out most evenings making the healthiest choices I could. I did have a few Halloween candy treats but all in all did reasonably well, I think. Will find out tomorrow.

Keep it up folks.

Kitty

Edited to add: I had a one pound loss over the two week vacation. Never lost weight on holiday before

Well I'm pleased to report I lost another 2lb today (my normal weigh in day), only 5 days since I last weighed in. My total loss on Xenical is 30lb in only 4 months

Well done My monthly weigh in is on Thursday. All I want is to break the 250lb mark. I am hopeful but didn't have the best weekend food wise after being really good the whole week. So, I will be as good as I can be until Thursday.

Echoing what Kim says, well done SarahJayne. If anyone is interested I've posted a before and 50lb lost photos here.

I've still along way to go but getting there.
