Default New and excited

Hi Everyone

I joined today and am so excited about finding this site. Feeling a bit nervous about doing my first message though. I have a long way to go before I get to my goal but at least today I'm feeling really positive after finding this site and have managed not to blow it - mind you its only been 5hrs since I started "again"!

Love the hamster pic! Welcome! Don't be afraid we aren't scarey, well apart from 2frus and YP1 - the sporty spices! Oh and Sarahann when she lures old men into her vegetable patch, he he!

We are all on a journey of sorts whether we have 2lb or 2+ stone to lose, so welcome aboard!

We're not scary... just mad!

Seriously, you don't need to run marathons or go rock climbing to fit in round here, there are people on all sorts of plans and lifestyles and I'm sure there will be plenty of people to encourage you.

Thank you guys! I was so worried that no one would reply! Thank you for all your encouragement. It's wonderful to know that there are people who I can talk to about weight who know how I feel. My friend is about my height and weights just 7st!! and although she is great and always listens she really doesn't ever know what to say.

Michelle, I noticed you are a similar height and start weight to me you have done fantastically..... HOW!

I've just put the children to bed and instantly gone to eat.... then I remembered 3FC and thought better of it! It's like a weekly weigh in but better!

Dx
PS the hamster was meant to resemble me short and fat!

Piglet I cut out the junk did some exercise and basically kept at it. Some days were hard but on the whole once I got intot he habit of things it became easier. It took me a couple of years probably because I plodded along and never denied myself meals out or anything but I always got back to healthiness the next day.

Look forward to seeing you in the May chat thread.

Take care

Michele

Actually, it sounds like Miche does a lot of running around after her boys - so maybe that is the secret!

As YP1 (Helen) said, we are all sorts on here. I don't (yet) do any exercise but Ikeep meaning to! I shocked myself by walking to and from the high street. Don't get me wrong this is not marathon but I usually take the bus. Not cos I hate walking but I hate the street I walk down!
