Default Slim at home

Just bought the magazine "slim at Home" Think its the first issue. Anyway its independent of any club or plan and seems to be a worthy replacement for Slimming magazine (Haven't finished reading it yet!) There are plenty of recipes and people's stories including Jodie from biggest loser. Also we get a mention in the little boklet that comes with it under "best weight loss websites"

I think it's Slimmer relaunched, as one of the letters on the letter page mentions Slimmer.

The 3fc mention is quite good as all the other links seem to be recipe, rebounder sites etc.

Yes it is monthly - comes out around the 10th ish of the month but I've only ever seen it at WH Smiths. I think it's really good and if it is slimmer relaunched it's way better than that was.

I loved slimming magazine and used to subscribe to it. On the last issue they sent a letter saying they had to stop it due to falling sales so that's why it went.

I got mine at Morrisons which is practically the only shop I go into. Slimmer was rubbish it always seemed to have people from The Bill on the front. Slim at Home has Tricia annoying talk show woman on the front.

I liked Slimmings food diary in the January issues. Last I heard Slimming World mag is the most popular diet mag in the UK.

I always used to think Slimmer was a bit trashy compared with the others - a bit like comparing Take a Break with Cosmopolitan! I'd only buy it when I'd exhausted all the other magazines that month - you know how it is when you go through that really zealous phase of a diet and buy up every single magazine going for that little bit extra inspiration!

I did like Slimming magazine at first but found it got a bit samey - all the success stories and healthy eating tips merge into one after a while. To be fair though it's not their fault that my "diet" has been so on-and-off that it's lasted for the past 11 years!

Might give Slim at Home a go though...
