Thanks for the welcome! They don't do RC in Holland - so I'm doing it on my own with the book, and hopefully with you guys for support!

CSIADDICT & RUSSIAN DOLL

CSI :Its great to see people as far as Holland are doing RC i know its not a class but your still following the principles of it all and thats great. I hope you find it as good as i do. good luck and let us know how you get on.

RD : A 20 mile round trip wow thats a heck of a trek but i hope you find it worth while , i tryed WW before and it took me 6 months to lose 2 stone and the diet is nothing compared to the GI diet i have found this so much better for me and having the added exercise is defintly a bonus. Good luck and let us know how you go with your weight in each week.

OK, weighed in this morning after the first week on the GI Jeans kick start plan. I've lost 7.4lbs in the last week ! I know most of that is water weight (especially after all the Xmas excesses), but I'm happy enough - kinda makes the starvation worth it, although I'm counting down the days to those extra 400 cals (I can have 1600 for my BMR)!!!

Well done - 7.4lbs!!!! Brilliant!!!!!

I've gone back to the 2 week 1200 cals kick start - just to try and shift the stray 8lbs I re-gained over Christmas. After that I'll go back to my normal 1500 cals. I never realised what a difference reducing by 300 cals would make - I have REALLY struggled with the munchies over the past few days. Never mind, like CSIAddict says, its not for long.

Over half a stone in one week CSI!! That's fantastic!

Now it's just a matter of keeping your eyes on the prize - look straight ahead and don't get distracted ... those pounds will start dropping away and the new you will emerge!

Here's to the week ahead

That's great news Treez! I always like to imagine what 1lb of lard looks like ... yuk! And that amount has gone from somewhere on you ... brilliant work!

Well done on that pound!!!

Visualisation is a great weight loss tool. Every now and then, when I'm feeling depressed and de-motivated because my weight-loss journey seems to be taking such a long time, I annoy supermarket staff by making a huge pyramid in lard/butter of the weight I've lost. I don't know if its the fat pyramid or the worried looks on the other customers'/staffs' faces while I'm doing it but I ALWAYS end up feeling happier.

Is there a place where we normally record our weigh-ins? Anyway, second week of RC Kick-Start produced a loss of 2lb exactly, considering this is also pre-menstrual week and I usually don't lose or I even gain a bit - that's great! I'm so looking forward to eating lots more food from today!
