Hello all, I have been waiting all week for the weekend to get here so I could sleep late and guess what.I have been up since 6.That kinda stinks.But 6 still beats 4.
I wrapped a few Christmas presents yesterday.I thought I had more than what I did.But 4 out of the 9 grandchildren are complete.I am determined to cut back on my Christmas spending.We will see as I say that every year.I love buying presents and I do overdo it sometimes.Actually most times.But Christmas is one of my favorite holidays.I drive my hubby nuts.I have 3 christmas trees I put up not counting the little 1 footer.One 6ft has everything on it,One 3ft is a special family tree with bulbs with all family menbers names and one 3ft only has precious moments ornaments.Plus I have stuff all over the house.But once Christmas is over I am ready to put it all away.That is part my husband doesn't understand so I try to leave stuff out longer than i would if it were just me.i know i am weird sometimes.I prefer to call myself "unique"
I am still trying to do better. It seems like the only way I can lose is to exercise to extremes or be hungry all the time.I still think my meds are causing problems altho doc says no..I guess it's just that elbow problem.Keep bending it too much and shoveling in the food.Altho I did do better yesterday.
Well I have rambled enough.
Good to see Sherri back.She is just like she is here on the boards when you see her in person.A real sweet girl.Hang in there ,you will do it.
Summer.I know exactly what you mean about the eating.I am always so amazed at you .You have so much on your plate but always so willing to try to help others. I don't know how I would handle things if I were you.I often look at the picture you sent me and I can see how happy your young daughter looks even with her problems.And I see the love on you and your husbands face.i feel honored to have you as my friend.

Well not much going on here.
I too Eleni wanted to sleep in later, but was awakened at 6:00.
I'm started to feel the same way you do about the weight loss thing. I'm still trying and going to a gym to work out 3 days a week, but that water thing gets me. I can gain 5 pounds of water over night. Which really aggravates me.
I'm due to set sail at the end of the month, still have a lot to do.
My mom and I canned 18 pints of salsa yesterday, and when the tomatos are ripe, about that much more to go, about Tuesay, which will be hard to get done with working and all. But my husband loves it. My dad thought it was a little on the warm side, but couldn't put it down, which wasn't good because of the sugar, and him being diabetic. I don't messure the peppers, I just try not to over do it. My hubby thought it was perfect.

Sherri-I'm glad you are back, and hope all is going better for you.

Everyone else hang in there. I know We can do this. I believe in all of us. I know we can be thin, and healthy.

Well ladies,

Sounds like we are a trio or so. We are all struggling. But at least we are doing it together right and not giving up that is the important part to remember. Someday all of our hard work will pay off and before we know it we will be at goal.

Thanks for the call today. I am so glad that you called and I actually got to talk to you today. I started yesterday getting my life back in order and back to a routine. Hang in there and you will turn this around. Remember you have to. We want you around for years to keep us straight.LOL. I hope you enjoyed the movie.

You are on the right track. At least you are working out at the gym. Glad to hear that. Your eating will turn around for you to. We just have to get mad enough at ourselves and say enough is enough. I did that and I am back on track today and doing well. I just haven't decided whether I should exercise or not. Before I lost the weight better when I didn't exercise. It is harder for me to lose when I do exercise. So maybe only a couple days a week will be fine. I can't do the 6-7 days like I was because it wasn't doing anything for me and I want the scale to go down not up. It is as high as it is going for now. I am determined and ready to do this. I put myself in this position. No one forced me to eat I did it all by myself. And no I am not depressed just so much has been happening but I am putting the brakes on for me and getting back to doing for me for a change. Johns mom is all set now. The nurse comes in tomorrow and the aids start tomorrow as well for 5 days a week for 45 min a day. So at least that is all settled. I am also go my house in order this weekend. It was in need of some major cleaning itself. I haven't had a chance to do any heavy cleaning just picking up. So now my house is clean and in order and I feel better already.LOL

Hang in there girl and watch what you put in your mouth. This is a very important week for you and you can do this. You can't lose your status now I won't let you.LOL
